"Oh and for all you sore losers who think he wouldnt win without aids..."

erm, apart from Qatar, that's exactly what has been happening this year isn't it? It's only since they sorted the electronics out for Donington that he's winning again, so that sort of makes your comment a bit silly doesn't it?

Go Colin!!!

@CA, Ducati still using the same system. It just Stoner had found a new idea how to re-calibrate it and giving similar effectiveness as GP7 (Catalunya test).

The only new things I heard was the new smaller fairing. It is very useful to reduce wind effect that give Stoner problem in 2007 for 'open' track like Assen.

My guesses is the system has been 'broken' somewhere after Misano where they try all they can to overcome difficulties for track like Estoril. It take almost half a season for Stoner find it back and made compatible with GP8.

The biggest improvement to Stoner is to follow Capirossi's advice to master the Ducati's setups when he joined the red team. The rest is pure talent...

zydon..One thing for sure Ducati certainly got themselves into a hole after the first race but it looks like they could be out of it now. CS is always fast in the first session and others seem to catch up but the important thing here is he seemed to go faster at will and the times are very impressive for the first session. Let's hope there is no rain to wash the rubber off the track before race day.

Was Rossi the only person with tc in 2002 no wonder he won. I have to say I think you'll find that there are hardly any similarities between what you believe to be TC in 2002 and the advanced electronics packages they use today. As they last years top of the range PC is this years Ipod...

Nasty MCN is a lying rag. The HRC manager is small like my son. Hayden boy had not need for fancy equipment so why tell him about it? If HRC cared about yanky pretty boys, they would have built the 800 in his style instead of for my Respol (Spanish) sponsored multilingual (Spanish ++) lovely (debateable) son. Now that Hayden has gotten some balls and made demands of HRC to adapt a bike and motor towards his style of riding, He becomes more competetive... We'll see on Sat. if it is the bike or Hayden, my lovely son is a great rider on any bike (so long as the bike fits the rider's style enough). Like Stoner (when the TC works), and Rossi (When the M1 got sorted and the tyres... the tyr)

To eliminate TC, the managable horse power can be handled by human at around 190HP. That was known HP limits in 500cc 2T and WSBK. When 200HP reaching WSBK machines, TC begin invading them too. So, take your pick, 190HP or the full potential of HP that the engine could delivered...

An impressive start once again by the Aussie, but I have the sneaky suspicion that he will not have it all his own way this week at Assen, there are too many of the other guys that are fast around there. My money would be on Rossi, Stoner and/or Pedrosa,Edwards,Lorenzo for the podium this weekend. 1 fast lap does'nt make a race.

I'll take the 190's ,if the computer is doing the work what potential are you talking about...Can't remember the last time I saw a fan wearing a I love the inline four. Or commenting, I bet the v4 will today he's my favourite...I blame the geeks... it's gone from F1 because everybody eventually does the same speed the same corner entry etc etc.,,and it's a better sport for it...
