Hi Joseph, I think it's due to the fact that Holland is/was a very religious country when the racing first started in GP's 49 years ago and the race was to be held on the Saturday so that Sunday would be kept free for people to go to church. If I remember rightly.

agree 100% Chu
This is just getting stupid for Melandri now!

1.4 & 1.9 sec behind the 2 satellite Ducati's, & a massive 3.2 secs off his team-mate!
One factory Ducati on Pole, & one last by almost a full second ... that cant be pleasing the Ducati bosses.

pretty decent session there, anyone else notice the little dig by randy about eurosports reliabilty with source information lol ouch. can i also say what a difference it makes for stoner to have a little interview with randy on his way to the press conference, and for him to be chatting and grateful to his place and team rather than moaning! hes a nice bloke when hes not bein a b!tch lol.

yer *******s tho hopper's done well to come out of that with a hurt ankle hasn't he, i would've been dead straight off crashing at that speed.

And RdP!! What a legend!!

Yeah and not only his bsses. He s gone for a fact

But im just saying if he keeps on creeping around like this til the end of the year, whi s gonna hire him for 09? He should just leave ... in his own intyerest. He s obvioulsy hit a wall from day one, 3.2 secs is not just a setup problem. It s ion his head.

Marco isn't trying any more. He's lost all hope in being competitive with the Ducati and he's just cruising around just because his contract says so.

I'm glad to see Rossi and Pedrosa up there on almost equal times with Stoner although he's gonna play the "little runaway" tommorrow.

If all races go like the previous (Stoner 1st Rossi 2nd Pedrosa 3rd) the last race will be hopefully a spectacular Rossi-Stoner showdown. Of course this is highly unlikely to be. Winning all races from now on is a bit too far even for the specced-up Ducati.

Rossi top speed - 290.9
Pedrosa top speed - 293.3
Stoner top speed - 297.2
RDP (0.4 off stoner) - 281.6! not a bad effort there!

The gap between stoner and Rossi wasnt even that big at qatar or china was it?! not the gap i would have expected at a circuit like Assen. Looks like the spring valve honda is working fine though!
