i really dont understand CS fanboys or Rossi fanboys..when rossi wins it is just his talent that wins..when cs wins its tc that wins..

then u get comments like the bike is crap because the other 3 riders are getting terrible results so it is all cs's talent....then when the rossi fanboys say why didn't he get results in the 125s and 250s the cs fanboys say he had inferior machinery..its quite contradictory..duke is bad but he is winning cose of his talent...125 and 250 he did not win because the bikes he got were bad...eh so where was his talent then...in hibernation??

oh boy so so so confused !!!! :? :? :? :?

Steve - ok, I've seen the report but is it substantiated? Or is it someone's interpretation of what they felt they'd seen? FWIW, he was by that time too far down on time to get points anyway so if he was reluctant perhaps it was because he knew the situation was irredeemable. I say this not to try to distort things but Stoner seems to be focussed - to put it mildly - on his racing. If it's correct, then I certainly accept your point but it seems out of character given the way he has ridden with things flapping around etc.

Firefly. I tend to agree but there needs to be a way of closing the gap. Just look at what pure electronics have done for F1. MOTOGP is closely going the same way if not careful. 1 or 2 races a year with close 1st to 2nd place racing at the end are just not good enough. As I said last year at least Rossi used to have the good grace to have a crap start and fight through to demolish everyone. Clearing off from turn one is boring. :) :)

confused: 2005 - Stoner, 250's, 5 wins on a privateer Honda, Pedrosa 8 wins on the factory Honda. Does that help at all?

Let's go back 6 years then. Less electronics, but the most boring season of any sport I ever watched. It's not the electronics.

Oscar, the feed I was watching showed it during the race and it was pretty hard to misinterpret. BTW, I'm Australian and a Stoner supporter :-)

Most of the criticism he gets on these forums is ridiculous and unfair, but he does have a few non-racing lessons to learn because he is so young. I think he'll work it out.
