maybe they thot it's better to quickly help a rider who's able to mount and compete, then turn around and help the hurt but not critically injured one. coz it just makes sense to help the one who's going to continue to compete.

The problem is Rossi is such a bad starter. Often on pole he rarely makes it to the front at the first corner and has to resort to magnificent clawing to get to the front.

Good starters: Danny, Casey, Randy.
Good "enders": Colin, Jorge.

I agree Marc, it's his achilles heel so to speak. He's working on it (in Donington he was second on the grid and second through the first lap) but when pushing it too much you'll get incidents like here in Assen.

Though he rode a magnificent race this weekend Edwards usually drops back in races.

Rossi and Edwards had spectacular rides, but I just can't get into "great" races that occur in the back of the pack. For me it's no kind of race unless there are battles for first. What a sad state of affairs.

It's impossible to tell what Rossis true pace was, his bike had damage that most of us would have trouble riding around to get home. We'll have to wait for the saxonring to know anything. One thing's for sure the duke will be set up before the first lap.......... I for one hope it's a nail biter.....

Surely if Rossi thought the Ducati was all that then his new contract would be with them.

The obvious conclusion, for the TC techno-babblers, is that Yamaha has fitted Rossi's bike with electronic gear changing, using a push-button on the handlebars. The lever is just a ruse to make people think it is actually used...

That's a fair point Baron same could be said of Ducati putting Stoner in the seat to make it look like it's being ridden... :-o

Iagree with your comment on rossi fans. If rossi is not on podium you hardly hear the crowd no matter who wins he always got the loudest cheer. He tries hard and even when he comes 2nd or 3rd is always pleased what was stoners comment a few races ago "a podium this far back is not worth having" say no more go vale x
