...no points or prizes for being fastest there. I'm sure the rest of the grid will be on the pace and know the circuit pretty damn well come qualifying. An extra couple of hours on a bike he still very new too will put Spies on a even playing field come Sunday at the very best. He is still lacking the hundreds of miles and months of testing new riders and GP regulars get.

wish Dorna would give British riders as much help as this damned Ben Spies.
They are desperate for him to get a decent result. Why is he practising there when no other gp riders are practising. Why is he getting special treatment.

pagoda. Because it is only not open to FULL time championship riders. If you can't see why that is maybe you should consider taking up another sport. Other than that what other assistance (although it isn't assistance, no special allowance has been made for Spies, he isn't a full time rider) has he had? He was well and truly thrown in the deep end at Donnington. Would be nothing stopping British riders who are not in the championship going if a team gave them a test ride. But right no who is there? Redding and Smith are too young. Maybe Laverty or Chas Davis I suppose.

As for Canapa. How do we know he is going to be anywhere near Stoners time?

FooAtari, im surprised ... Bunch of pussies? WTF? if u want walls go race the TT or the NW200.
Moto gp bikes should not race near walls. In fact no bikes should , as long a it s a short track series. This is flat out 120% racing, track safety must be maximized.

I guess AMA guys are pussies for not wanting to race Loudon either ...
If moto gp ar pussies then where does that put car racing?

lol chu chu. I was (half) joking. You don't need bravery to go car racing these days, still need skill though. But an F1 driver for example is safer in their car than I am in mine. Yet they are the biggest moaners...

Maybe they should have air fencing up, maybe the will come race day. Sometimes I just get fed up of their moaning. It's motorsport, it's dangerous, and no one is making you do it. I do think there shouldn't be needless risks and I guess you have a point, an unprotected wall is a needless one.

As for the TT and NW2000, in fact include irish road racing in that. Best racing in the world IMO. Thats men with some serious balls of steel

As for brit riders not gettin help ... chris walker got a nsr500 and failed - so did leon haslam (hopper got an yzr at same age and made the mos out of it) - hodgson had the duke and couldnt do much ...
shakey got a couple wild cards on the honda pons and did f all ...
Spies main problem is his salary in ama - if anyone payus him 3mm in moto gp to score 8ths or 10ths at best, there s gonna be a lot of pissed off moto gp riders next year.

I was a bit harsh perhaps. I just hate when great circuits are ruined, not that Indy infield is a great circuit... By all means take steps to make tracks safer, but I get pissed when great corners are removed and chicanes added and it just kills the circuit. Take Assen, its just another track now, a shadow of its former self.

I agree on Assen - from Cathedral to Bog at Burger King!

But walls are for car racing ... Suzuka got cut for less than this ...
As for circuits, i just dont egt why alll these new tracks are so boring ... flat with chicanes and hyperslow ocrners ... qtar is not too bad although too flat, istanbul is ok , but china , sepang etc ... ? booooooooooooooooooooring

they shoulñd just copy old tracks - road america, jarama, imola , cadwell ...
