Melandri has constantly critisized the bike, and never ever taken responsibility for his riding.

Using Sete has 2 purposes, 1, To independantly evaluate the bike. 2, To show Marco his excuses are just excuses.

I've said all along Marco couldent handle the Duc, while all you Stoner Moaners claimed he would clean Casey's clock.....Lol

The only way Sete will race is if Marco bails out on Ducati premuturely. Frankly Marco is looking like a quit'er. Sete would be top ten stuff but in the end Casey will do to Sete what he did to Vale, Phsyc him out.

I see value in Sete being used as a Ducati attack dog set on The Doctor. :) :) :)

Sete has unfinished business in motogp, mostly because of his shabby treatment. I think he would exorcise most of those demons if he were on the team that beat Valentino. I think that the Valentino spell has been broken by the lucky Hayden and the fast and skilled riding of Casey AND Dani. I think Sete would come back to a competition that has Valentino “the rider”, when Sete left he was still “the enigma”. It will provide a 2nd part to the story and a chance for Sete to clean the slate so to speak and leave motogp with his head held high. His desire to be on the winning team means he will run great interference for Casey and bring a battle back to mgp that would be highly anticipated.

modern fighter planes wouldn't be able to fly without the flight computers. they need ultra agility and this is achieved by making the plane intrinsically unstable to the point were it's un-flyable by a human pilot alone. the pilot however still needs to be the best of the best and nobody doubts his skill even though he couldn't fly without the computer. see the analogy folks??? nobody is saying the riders are less skillful but the computer systems do help.

as for duc... i think for MM sanity he needs to leave or he may be permanently damaged by this experience. i agree NH most likely will replace MM next season 4sure he won't be at Repsol i think they want dovi or bautista next season.

Roo- I think Sete would be happier and keener to beat Stoner, after all it was his crash that put the final nail in Setes coffin and he got his ride to boot...If I was Sete I would be doing everything to beat Stoner, if he does start he's not going to win the championship.. but he can beat his team mate...

Go Sete!!!!!

Chatting to the Marelli guys a few weeks back & according to them the setup data has been passed across the pits a few times & Marco still didnt feel at home with the bike.

If his setup doesnt work for him, & Casey's doesnt work for him ... well, setting up the bike is prolly 60% of the job ... & if you cant do your job you should get replaced.

Bring on Sete immediately, why wait for 2 more rounds of failure?

Lexington put it right: Electronics allow the machinery to go beyond what was possible before, allowing the machine to be cutting-edge performance-wise and still be rideable.

However much I'm bashing the lack of spectacle in MotoGP lately, I was amazed when I rode for a few hundred meters my friend's Aprilia Shiver. It has 3 different ignition mappings. "Cruise", "Sport" and "wet". Each of them produced a totally different engine, all available with the click of a switch. I couldn't help but think to myself "This is a revolution".

And TC surely will increase everyday rider's safety. Just think about how many highsides you have in trackdays...
