Sete Gibernau concludes second 'comeback' test for Ducati by setting very impressive lap times at Mugello, but what happens now?

As a rossi fan, it would be great to see sete gibernau back in motogp and compete at the front. He was the only rider to stay with valentino those years and would be great to see if he can fight for victory. With sete's style of riding, I hope nobody wins by more than 4 seconds. (Rossi cant do it alone: battling for 1st, thus being a great race)

Would be great to have Sete back, during 2006 the injuries and bad luck really drained him. With time to reflect hopefully he will come back at his best.

Vamos Sete!!

If Sete has a few races in 2008, and in these races he is able to stay with Stoner - then Stoner is a very good rider on a superb world beating bike that's ahead of HRC and Yamaha.

Stoner knows this, and won't want Sete knowing his setups.
Stoner loves to push the myth he is the new Rossi, when he's anything but.

If Sete can prove this, it's the best thing that happened to MotoGP in 2008.
If Jorge can stay on the bike in 2009 and beat Stoner, then the Australian myth will fade back to the caravan.

I really doubt the factory are not using the data from their fastest rider to help the slower one, does someone really think Ducati or Honda are happy of having one rider in front and the other one on the back, Moto GP bikes cost so much money to run it's hard for me to beleive they are not doing all they can do to help the slower rider but seeing Stoner data or Pedrosa data doesn't you make going faster but help you to understand what they do to go fast, the only thing they can't mesure is how bad their rider want to win.

If memory serves me right,Doohan wasnt too pleased when HRC allowed other riders to use his data, they just couldnt ride the NSR like he did..and I feel that the other Duc riders are in the same boat.Does anybody think that the ultra smooth riding style of Sete is gonna suit the Duc,I dont think so,but I would like to see him given a go anyways....Cant see Sete up at the front with Vale and Dani, but he will be scoring points for Duc,more than poor Marco anyways....

Here's hoping that Sete is back after the summer break. He was only half a second slower than Stoner but don't forget Stoner was still on the mule at Mugello, I think the gap would be slightly more now if Stoner did another lap of Mugello on the revised GP8.
Anyway hope Sete is back, couldn't do any worse than Melandri....
