********

just as was predicted, no live FPs, Warmups, 125 and 250 classes,
and just think what will happen to live MotoGP if it clashes with the almighty F1
snooze-a-thons

Not to mention the dull BBC commentary team

thanks Dorna, you have just put the first nail in the coffin of the motorcycle World Championships

Oh good, more ill-informed babbling from that goonish pair of Cox and Parrish - I can''t wait. To anyone with the remotest insight into the sport they''re simply an embarrassment.

Everything else about the presentation is slick, done with enthusiasm and well-rounded. I understand that on the Beeb entertaining the wider, often less-anoraky viewer is key to spreading the word and getting bums on seats - but, honestly, is this unholy duo really the best way to go about it?

Yeap! the BBC has extended it's deal not to show bike racing as expected!

If you are right and you cannot record the interactive channel then I will just ignore the whole thing because I am sick of this crap from Dorna. Bike racing at GP level can go swivel if is this is what we will have to put up with next year.

Any guys going to European GP's this year get some f'in big tasteful banners made up for Dorna to view on their beloved TV channels and let them know what a bunch of real tossers they are!

As much as I don't agree with this deal at all and remain to be convinced that the BBC will bring us something better than the substandard efforts we've had so far, al this anger and disappointment is really being sent in the wrong direction.

At the end of the day, IT WAS DORNA'S DECISION TO AXE EUROSPORT, not the BBC.

I just hope somebody from there reads this and like the BBC, responds, but I'm not holding my breath.

Dear Ms. Rogerson,

No disrespect, but frankly what BBC is offering is not what we, the money paying fans want! It's not simply that we're fans of Eurosport, we are fans of the easily accessible coverage Eurosport has to offer:

1 Channel, full coverage, full stop.

That is what we want and that is sadly not what BBC is offering. If we will not miss a race live, what will happen for the night race in Qatar 2009...Crufts again?

We want to turn on BBC1 or 2 at 1pm on a Friday & Saturday of a race weekend and watch our qualifying, we then want to watch from morning warm up on race day, through to the MotoGP post race interviews...that's it, simple.

Can and will BBC offer this?

I can only say after watching moto GP on Eurosport and BBC ( Eurosport when working abroad BBC when at home that the BBC should keep their existing presenters, in my opinion the Steve P and Charlie C combination is great ( as does my wife).

The BBC need to realise the only reason they got this coverage is because Espaleta wants to be as rich as Bernie. They DIDN'T get it because the programme is better, in fact its no-where near as good as Eurosport. Just to make it clear too, we're fans of Motogp, not Eurosport, its their coverage of our sport we love about them.
I assume its now perfectly clear to Prius driving Belinda (such a BBC name!) that the commentary team are unquestionably ****. Please get rid of all of them. Whitham and Bernacle are better, as well and Moody,Ryder,Mamola.
The bbc treat veiwers like morons, we know what we're watching and we don't need your useless commentators to tell us what kneesliders are for.

We want informative and entertaining, not patronising and childlike. Belinda may not know jack-**** about racing but we do, so LEARN Belinda and treat our sport with respect its not just your stepping stone to be producer of Panorama.
And don't forget, THIS IS NOT F1.

I hate the ******* BBC, so change my mind Belinda.
