********

just as was predicted, no live FPs, Warmups, 125 and 250 classes,
and just think what will happen to live MotoGP if it clashes with the almighty F1
snooze-a-thons

Not to mention the dull BBC commentary team

thanks Dorna, you have just put the first nail in the coffin of the motorcycle World Championships

Assen will be live as it was this year and last year. Whilst I accept we didn't used to show all races live we have for 2 seasons now.

Assen will be live as it has been for the last 2 years. All the races have been live for the last couple of seasons.

Will you be taking a serious look at the existing commentary team? The comments about the current presenters are not just the comments of this board. If you look at other bike forums (Visordown.com and Therevcounter.com) you'll see exactly the same views their about Charlie Cox and Steve Parrish - i.e, get rid of them as they're annoying, whilst the Eurosport team are considered to be far better.

It's probably asking too much for you to comment about this on a public forum, but the presenter side of things does need a serious re-think.

"BBC Sport has become the home of motorsport in the UK: a one-stop shop for fans of the very best two wheel and four wheel, adrenalin-fuelled sport action across TV, radio and online services.”

Hmmmm, so why is this news story not even on your main sport page? Just full of the usual football b o l l o c k s! I can't think of anywhere worse to go for motorsport coverage. We get hour upon hour of tennis, golf, snooker etc, even when it's raining and there's no actual play, so we just get a bunch of idiots drivelling on and on and on..., yet one of, if not THE most exciting sports in the world gets an hour and a half tops, terrible analysis (matt roberts is ok), and even worse commentary.

Hi Berlinda,

Will the 125, 250 and MotoGP free practise sessions be shown live/repeated? And will the the main commentators (whoever they will be *hint*) be the same throughout all the classes/sessions, or will they only be available for the big class with different people doing the 125/250s?

I think it's important to have the same people do all sessions/classes for continuity, and following young blood up into the big class.

As a positive - we will all value the loss of advert breaks! :)

Whoever made that statement at the beeb is way of the mark, do we get speedway, grass track, motocross, enduro, trials, supercross, superside, world superbikes, drag racing, domestic road racing do we heck. Got absolutely nothing against the BBC coverage of MGP apart from Charlie Cox and if they do bring over the Eurosport commentary team please give Moody directions to Outer Mongolia or the Amazon. I don't want to keep hearing him harping on about that waste of space Hayden or F1

Dorna, the rights holder who supply the race coverage itself to all broadcasters, are intending to go HD in 2010. It's a complicated process - not for the track cameras but for all the mini cams on the bikes, the RF cameras in the pit lane etc etc.
