********

just as was predicted, no live FPs, Warmups, 125 and 250 classes,
and just think what will happen to live MotoGP if it clashes with the almighty F1
snooze-a-thons

Not to mention the dull BBC commentary team

thanks Dorna, you have just put the first nail in the coffin of the motorcycle World Championships

There are no direct clashes - the only tricky one was Magny-Cours and Donington this year in the same time zone so Dorna just ran the MotoGP race later. It doesn't benefit anyone UK, Italy, Spain etc etc to run MotoGP up against F1.

belinda, thanks for taking the time comment on this forum. its very rare to even be in this type of dialouge with a producer i must say.

I think us fans are looking for some reassurance for next years season in terms of production. You have to awknowledge that the BBC's coverage so far of motogp is well, well below the standard of eurosport's. MotoGP is incredibly technical, and requires immense inteligence on both rider and teams and that just not transcend through the commentry to the viewer. The viewer who may be watching for the first time. I think its laughable relection, the way its brought to the viewer at the moment. That may sound harsh, but i believe it to be fair and justified.

Belinda,

Thanks once again for facing up to the angry mob once again. As you can see this recent news has upset the proverbial apple cart amongst the biking fraternity - did the Beeb predict this kind of response?. A question though - how am I supposed to set my recording system to record all of the BBCi stuff I will have to physically have to red button the channel prior to the race starting. Why can't the races be broadcast on a live BBC channel BBC2,BBC3, BBC4 etc?

are there any plans for a shake up on the way the BBC trys to convey the sport to the audience next year that you may have planned or are able to share with us at this point? aside from the clear air time issues and lack real live 125/250 sessions.

The reasons that I am so pleased to watch MotoGP on BBC are :-
1- I don't have to listen to Moody & Ryder constantly talking over each other.
2- I don't have to listen to Moody & Ryder constantly correcting each other on wrong facts.
3- I don't have to listen to Moody & Ryder constantly falling about laughing at their own jokes.
4- I don't have to listen to Moody & Ryder
5- Eurosport transmission gives a wider picture than true. Makes the bikes look more leaned over than they really are.
6- I don't have to listen to Moody & Ryder
