********

just as was predicted, no live FPs, Warmups, 125 and 250 classes,
and just think what will happen to live MotoGP if it clashes with the almighty F1
snooze-a-thons

Not to mention the dull BBC commentary team

thanks Dorna, you have just put the first nail in the coffin of the motorcycle World Championships

Stavros (Parrish) is brilliant. Randy (Mamola) is brilliant. Suzy is brilliant (read up on how she got the job) all the riders are happy to talk to her. Cox is a good foyle for Steve and they don't laugh at their own jokes.

7- I don't have to listen to Moody & Ryder.

codger, stavros, having met the guy is alright, and he is somewhat respected in the paddock, and even by eurosports team as they name drop him now and then if you watch practice. however that is BBC's only good point.
theres been enough said about charlie cox already so no need to add, poor matt roberts is like a dear caught in the headlights whenever he's infront of the camera and sometimes fails to talk coherently, let alone about bike technicalities.

and you'l never, never get into suzi's pants :p

Or how about Keith Hewen and Parrish ? Both did a great job for the NW200, and Hewen was always excellent when he did the WSB and MotoGP back in the days when it was on Screensport. In fact it was him and Ryder that were a great combination (much better than Moody).

But please not Charlie Cox (or Barry Nutley, just in case you were thinking of reeling him out).

Forgive my ignorance chaps but can someone answer me these questions -
1) Will I be able to get practice and qualifying and the 125s and 250s on the Beeb next year via Sky (I have the full package)?
2)Will I be able to record all using Sky+?
If the above is true, I personally will not have a problem at least seeing the action. I never watch MotoGP live anyway (always at least a little bit behind so I can speed thru the ads).

I just pray I will not have to listen to that goon Cox and the not very good either Suzi Perry (Steve Parrish is ok). Toby (Alan Partridge) Moody, Julian Ryder and Randy Mamola are collectively a great team and the Beeb should sign them up pronto, Tonto!

Ian, Heuwen and Parrish? Both team mates to Barry Sheene. Both know racing inside and out. Both still live and breathe the sport. Good choice in my eyes but I remember that Sheene was mates with steve but did not like Keith. Possibly cos Keith was more of a threat on the track. could be a good pairing. I would like to see Steve and Randy together personally, both a bit wild in their time!!!

It seems to me this Belinda is cherry picking what questions to answer, anything to do with the plumbs they call commentators or a "difficult" question is ignored, not like the beeb at all :D :D

codger, i admit, i am the eurosports most biggest allie, but your right, sometimes there jokes can get thin here and there, and some of there moments like youve made just an example of.
I think overall, you get the impression they genuiney love the sport so much, and know so much about it, but they actually bring that across in the best way most of the time. even if sometimes its a bit childish, but i know i get like that when im watching it too. maybe thats why everyone thinks highly of them.

I really would appreciate it if someone could tell me if this interactive red button business means much of the coverage will not be on a proper set in advance recordable channel?

If the Eurosport team don't defecate (sic) to the Beeb, my suggestion would be Keith Huewen or even Chris (definitely not Tony) Carter. Barry Nutley just makes silly growling sounds. Or what about Murray Walker? Actually, he would be fantastic. I've spoken to him and he's a massive bike fan and his dad was a top TT racer. I know he's knocking on a bit but he's fit and active with all his marbles. As long as it's not Cox and Suzi Perry.
