What about removing that idiot Charlie Cox, im without a doubt that he is the main cause of people being put off the coverage on the BBC.

Take out Parish and Cox and employee the best in the business for the ultimate BBC MotoGP coverage - Moody, Ryder and Mamola!

Well that's a start but what about the commentary team? Toby, Julian and Randy are far superior to Parrish n Cox, have more detailed knowledge of past races and of the technical workings of the machines and are just more interesting to listen too. They get as excited as any race fan which just shows they are true fans also!

So whatever way you look at it we're going to lose the continual coverage that Eurosport provides on race day, before morning warm-up starts to the interviews after the MotoGP race. And it doesn't look like we'll get any free practice sessions either. And recording in advanced is no longer a possibility now, is it?

And that's not to mention the new (but as yet unconfirmed, mind) commentary team.

Complete **** bags, basically.

BRILLIANT!!!
I love the BBC coverage already - no interuptions, interactive, iplayer to see race again and the extra coverage usually before and always after (always get an extra 30 mins coverage on interactive, so we always see podium, get interviews etc).

The fact that BBC has this exclusively I hope will mean even more coverage and perhaps getting Randy and Moody across too (Charlie Cox isn't the best sometimes!).

My licence fee is becoming more justified following this. Selfishly, I am very happy about this! Well done BBC!!!

BBC you need to listen to us.
get Moody , Ryder & Mamola from Eurosport , they are the best in the business.
please dont make us have to listen to Cox & Parrish , they are the main reason we watch it on Eurosport.
regarding the coverage , are we going to be able to watch the practice sessions on repeat on the red button as they are normally taking place while we are at work. at the moment eurosport repeats it later in the day or i record it . with the red button you cannot record.
thanks Dean

Whine whine whine whine, moan moan moan moan! You Moto GP fans are never happy! How dare you say that those rank amateurs Moody,Ryder and Mamola are better than me, Coxy and Suuuzzzz! Are you all on drugs?
We at the Beeb are the dogs danglies when it comes to Moto GP commentry and coverage, and you so called fans should just bite the bullet, shut up and deal with it.
If you really want to hear Ryder and co get yourselves down the job centre!
This is a new era for Moto GP and I expect you all to join in and worship me like I do.
Eurosport is for losers!

My BIG concern with BBC is their current commentators. If they want to maintain a good reputation for being in touch with the enthusiasts, then please head hunt the 2 guys from Eurosport. Their knowledge, enthusiasm, pit lane contacts, banter and cheek are second to none. I watch Euro in preference, for their commentary, even though they do not broadcast in widescreen, only switching over for their ads. As you request no personnal attacks, I will direct my comments to the BBC about their 125 and 250 commentators!!!

I'm in agreement with Paddy G. If you ask me to chose between the BBC coverage and coverage interrupted by adverts I'll tell you to ask me a serious question.

As for the commentary team - Back off & think. The only one not deeply into bikes is Charlie Cox. Well, my RVF riding missus enjoys listening to him. Not a biker but he does a good double act with Parrish by *acting* dim.
+ If you want more, good bike coverage on TV it needs more viewers.
Hell, if meant having the commentary run by characters from the Muppet show or even Jerremy Clarkson - of course there's a difference :-) to draw folk in, well, that's a worthwhile trade innit?
