What about removing that idiot Charlie Cox, im without a doubt that he is the main cause of people being put off the coverage on the BBC.

Take out Parish and Cox and employee the best in the business for the ultimate BBC MotoGP coverage - Moody, Ryder and Mamola!

Surely the most important concerns *were* addressed - the bikes will get plenty of attention and *not* be negatively affected by F1.

And no one has mentioned the HD thing - that's brilliant!

Even if the commentary team isn't the best, we'll get all the action from all the races and a damned sight more besides.

Honestly, you're a bunch of whining little babies.

Ok, so the actual coverage issues have been mostly addressed, but my biggest concern (and I think most people's) is the commentary on BBC. I would rather mute the volume than listen to their current line up. Charlie Cox is a complete waste of space. I really hope that the beeb sees sense and recruits Toby, Julian and Randy. Please BBC, don't f it up.

And the commentators will be....????

Mamola, Parish, Whitam, Hewen, Julian Ryder.

But please not Charlie (the ex car racer)

"the 125 and 250 QP2 and races, MotoGP Qualifying and MotoGP Extra all on the red button which has an increasingly large reach as well as being on the I-Player a service unique to the BBC coverage"

The problem is that unless you have a freeview box you are not able to record anything shown on BBCi, and with reference to the iPlayer, who want's to spend all their time in front of a PC.

There are a lot of people who cant watch certain aspects of a MotoGP at the time of broadcasting (i.e. they are working), so being able to record it is of great benefit.

Also whats happened to QP1 for the 125 and 250's, and FP2 for the MotoGP, which we currently can see via EuroSport.

I don't think the issue of the commentators is that much of an issue, I watched F1 for years while hating Murray Walker's commentary, but I could live with it - and mute it as necessary.

The main issue is that the BBC wish to say they are providing a full service by showing the supporting races on the interactive channels - this is not so, there is no EPG on the interactive channel and recently during some rowing event, the interactive service was only available to Satellite subscribers anyway. It is my fear that Motor Cycle racing will be bumped from BBC2 if it clashes with Tennis, Show Jumping, Golf or even F1 racing, The BBC has form in this respect, they have often done this in the past

I have been a fan of anything with 2 wheels for about 35 years (no i dont remember all the stats etc) by far my biggest concearn is the ability to record stuff. I live in spain and the whole of spring and summer i'm flat out so tend to watch the races as i can. I would like to know why they couldn't use bbc3 or 4.
We can skip the interactive thing and for those of us that have an ip address outside of the uk can't access iplayer.

I know i could watch the tve coverage but Eurosport did a really good job for our sport (and when i didn't have enough cash for a subscription it was an excuse to go the pub!) and i thank them for that.

I hope that the BBC do listen and also learn.......

Dear BBC. Please show the 125 & 250cc races on the normal digital television channels.
According to your own website, bbcblahblahblah/radio/help/faq/can_i_record_red_button.shtml
you cannot preprogram these to record.
"...you can't programme your VCR/Sky+ box to record red button programmes/services in advance. This is because red button programmes aren't listed in the EPG (electronic programme guide)."

..... BUT i can really see WSB taking off if not. Many european countries will have now basically lost Motogp, while WSB sees good competative racing, full grids, will continue to recieve Eurosport coverage and pan european advertising revenue. Plus i would guess Vale will stick around for about 2 more years, when he goes many of the newer fans will disapear. Think how many people got into bikes when foggy was racing, you could only get about 5 miles before pulling a stock broker from the nearest hedge.
Good Luck to the BBC (its in your hands you have viewers outside the UKas well)

Thanks to eurosport for many good years coverage (they will probably pay you to take it back in 2013)GOT

I am glad to see the Beeb is listening. I hope they take on board the comments about the commentators because theirs are awful compared to Moody, Ryder and Mamola.
