What about removing that idiot Charlie Cox, im without a doubt that he is the main cause of people being put off the coverage on the BBC.

Take out Parish and Cox and employee the best in the business for the ultimate BBC MotoGP coverage - Moody, Ryder and Mamola!

Seeing as my question was reasonable and not rudely put...yet ignored, I'll ask it again (expecting the same response I get from Dorna when I email them EVERY DAY......NOTHING!!!)

Dear Ms. Rogerson,

No disrespect, but frankly what BBC is offering is not what we, the money paying fans want! It's not simply that we're fans of Eurosport, we are fans of the easily accessible coverage Eurosport has to offer:

1 Channel, full coverage, full stop.

That is what we want and that is sadly not what BBC is offering. If we will not miss a race live, what will happen for the night race in Qatar 2009...Crufts again?

We want to turn on BBC1 or 2 at 1pm on a Friday & Saturday of a race weekend and watch our qualifying, we then want to watch from morning warm up on race day, through to the MotoGP post race interviews...that's it, simple.

Can and will BBC offer this?

doG's question is right, and the only one that matters. We want full coverage like we've always had it, full stop.

The commentary team is a non issue. Moody is like a big girl. Ryder isn't much better. Quite frankly I'm pleased I'll never have to listen to them out-anorak eachother again. Randy is the only one worth keeping cos he's actually been there and done it - and the riders respect him, which means they talk to him. Unlike Suzi 'I'll point at the riders on the grid cos I'm too scared to speak to them' Perry. She used to be eye candy, not anymore! Waste of space.
Dorna you've made a big ricket. Another nail in the coffin of the greatest sport in the world.

Bit gutted really, I only subscribe to sky for the bike racing, in fact really just eurosport motogp, WSB, BSB, MX & Trial. More to the point have tried the beeb commentary and although I like Stavros mr cox et al are not good! agree with earlier comments that Huewan and Ryder were an awesome combination and could see Ryder working with Stavros in that way. Randy is awesome so come on beeb sort the commentary team and we will all be on board.

In my experience, the traditional BBC sports of horse racing, cricket, golf, snooker and tennis ALWAYS get a higher priority when it comes to scheduling. The motorsport has always been an after thought. The Eurosport coverage has been excellent and provides dedicated coverage with top class commentators. BBC's 'jack of all sports' approach will only mean less dedicated coverage time. No Motogp fan minds paying for sky so why does anyone think more people will watch if it is on BBC? They will lose dedicated fans in the hope of picking up the odd part time watcher? Makes no sense.

Seems like we've lost Friday practise then and get iffy, half-baked coverage of 125/250 classes.

Big question is - what's happening with the commentators? Most of us care about this the most.

I hope the BBC addresses the more difficult questions very soon. HD in 2010 is lovely, but not what any of us really care about.

Come on BBC, show us you really care about the fans :D

The history of the Beeb's coverage of bike sport is that it takes a very distant 10th place to tennis, cricket, footie etc. If some bloody boring Wimbledon match overruns, which sport will get the nod from the elitists who run the BBC? You see, motorcycling isn't on the curriculum at Eton or Oxford or Cheltenham Ladies College wereas tennis and cricket and horse racing are definitely part of that culture.

C'mon Beeb, tell me that isn't the truth. You have proved it many, many times over the years.

Does it really matter that much who is commentating? Half the time I'm shouting at the TV "somebody's gone down" "somebody's blown up" etc. before the commentary team have seen it!

The real problem IMHO is the reduced coverage - I want to be able to watch (and record) British riders in the 125 and 250 races as well as the MotoGP race. Often the 125's and 250's have much better races than MotoGP as they don't have the electronics to help and are generally much younger and trying to make their mark using testosterone fuelled 'tactics'!

Come on Auntie Beeb - support ALL the British riders and give them the air time they deserve and need to further their careers and give us a World Champ!
