What about removing that idiot Charlie Cox, im without a doubt that he is the main cause of people being put off the coverage on the BBC.

Take out Parish and Cox and employee the best in the business for the ultimate BBC MotoGP coverage - Moody, Ryder and Mamola!

Zen Dog, just to correct you on the issue of Motegi and F1 Singapore clashing - F1 is a night race so will be in it's 'usual' slot for the European viewers. Can't say the same for the Sepang/China clash though, but they might delay the MotoGP start time.

doG, the Qatar MotoGP race was shown live on BBC2 this year, wasn't it??

If you're that bothered about recording the interactive coverage, buy a twin tuner HDD recorder with built in freeview (about £80) and record channels 301 and 302 at the appropriate times!! It's not rocket science. Though I agree it would be better if they used BBC3 or BBC4 to show it.

perhaps they will ask keith heuwin, get him and Ryder together again! that used to blow away anything eurosport had at the time. and that sky sports WSBK coverage is part of the reason bike racing in UK is as popular as it is. yet keith gets forgotten.

forget the rest, parish, keith and Randy are the only who say what they think rather than brown nosing a current fad rider(who ever that may be at the time)

just a quick comment on this subject i have been watching and going to g p s since they came to silverstone in the 70s and have enjoyed every minute of it, so i am a bit
concerned that the bbc have exclusive rights to cover motogp s lets be honest it has
usualy been shown as a filler or an afterthought to be shoved around or cancelled to
make way for the old favourites [football tennis and all the rest of them].so if the
beeb goes true to form and does it again lets all show a united front and show our disgust by complaining loud and clear to them direct and not just amongst ourselves.
one last thing drop the red button rubbish and show it on bbc 2 3 or 4.
ps bring over randy & co.

Ramjam 69 states that you could (can at the moment in fact) record Freeview channels 301 and 302 and hope for the best.
This is true only if the BBC is showing a small number of sports.
But as has already happened at least once this year, MotoGP on BBCi has been bumped off Freeview and was only available on Satellite, where you have 7 channels to record in the hope of finding MotoGP.
In short, as many people are saying: Putting the small classes, practice and warmup on BBCi, Interactive or "red button" - whatever you want to call it, represents a massive step backwards for anyone who wants or needs to time-shift record an event. Using the iPlayer is unlikely to be an acceptable substitute.

Cox and Parrish only appear poor if you have any kind of insight or interest in motorcycle racing that extends beyond the superficial.

In the same style of a) Ian Wright b) Boris Becker and c) Mark Blundell, Cox and Parrish are shining examples of ex-pros who can't commentate their way out of wet paper bags but who producers think have a latent appeal thanks to their 'star' quality.

Incidentally, in my humble, Suzi Perry is miles better than either of them, and transcends the usual eye-candy label, thanks to her talent and enthusiasm.

Once Belinda was brave enough to put BSB's own Barry 'Shouty' Nutley out to pasture, perhaps she'll do the same with this pair of pantomime horses.

It''s ok for Belinda Rogerson to say the 125''s and 250''s will be a red button service, but what''s the point of that when you can''t set a recorder for that service. Come on BBC, recognise your coverage is not what we MotoGP fans demand, and have had for many years, if you cant'' do the same as Eurosport, don''t bother at all. I pay my subscription to Sky for the Eurosport service, and I am now being cheated out of it by Dorna and you.

This is what happens when you let a communist organisation like the BBC mug the MotoGP contract, it'll end up *****.

Eurosport make a big deal of supporting bike racing. can't see the beeb giving anything like the type of coverage the hardcore fans like myself need to watch MotoGP.

It's like being told you only have 4 months to live! depressing
