Is it just me or have the 125 races been much better to watch for the last few races. Good old fashioned overtaking, slipstreaming, out braking and riding 3 bikes side by side round the last corner etc. MotoGP needs all these ingredients putting back in as it now looks like scalextric for bikes. Remember Jerez 2005, Rossi and Gibernau on those last few laps, pure magic.

Seeing the Motogp grid so small I don't want to see a crash of a mechanical failure during the race, 18 riders in Motogp and 38 or 39 like last week end in 125 and it's also easy to understand why you get more competition in one class more than the other one, the same is happening in 250 the grid is getting smaller.
I am more a fan of motorcycle racing than a fan of a particular rider, I do like to exchange my point of vue about what they all do, it doesn't mean I do like one more than the other one, for Motogp I'm hoping Pedrosa will do well even he is not in he best shape, just for the sport I enjoy the most to watch.

4 Hayden or Edwards :)
5. Pedrosa, if he manages to ride

Go Dani! Dani knows that it's not all lost. He can still do it! Just at LeMans he hasn't been on the podium, and last race :-(... so it's pretty much possible that he will be on the podium. But I think that Bridgestone will be hard to beat. Let's hope he won't be in much pain and that Honda and Michelins will work better here this year.

Mille R you are a fanboy hoping that Rossi and Dani both have mechanical failures. I like to see the Yamaha boys and Pedrosa on the top spots relegating whiner TC boy stoner to under the top 5.

Sorry to add a note of negativity but...I don't think he should be ALLOWED to race. He has a BROKEN wrist. Umm..anyone consider he might be a danger to the OTHER riders??

Laguna is technical & bumpy & DP isn't exactly an impressive physical specimen. What will all you "Go Dani" fanboys be saying when he loses control & takes out 1 (or more) riders.."how sad"!!

Look if it was ANY other part of his body than what is necessary to not be a risk to others I'd be fine with it, as all he'd be endangering is himself. What next..his concussion only causes "temporary" blindness..OK with that?

JoeKing you do bring up good points but I'm sure during the practices Dani will assess his ability to ride. Plus being that the points are close it only makes sense for him to try to salvage as many points possible even if he can't perform at a maximum level. Many riders ride injured but understand the risks. He's a fairly sensible rider so I'm sure he won't intentionally put others in harms way. But even an injured Dani is probably better than some of the crash artists in the series.

Hope he rides well and is able to be competitive.

Do you guys know that Spies has won the last 3 AMA SBK races at Laguna with lap times in the 1:23s which would have given him a top 5 finish in last years MotoGP race .Stoners fastest lap was 1:22.542 so he should be able to get at least a top 5 finish on his MotoGp bike. Jamie Hacking has won 5 SuperSport races at Laguna so do not be suprised if all 4 Americans finish in top7 with Stoner,Vermulen who both go fast at Laguna and maybe Rossi who has only a best of 3rd in 2005.
