Just watched the interviews...

stoner is pathetic...was that a break check...who knows...no respect at all, and now i know i was right not to be a big fan of this lad..

yes it was heated and unless he comes out and makes an apology for acting like a child and his comments in the interview, i doubt he'll have many fans at all...apart from the little groupies who'll stick by his side..

rossi has made a miracle today, everyone was wondering how much stoner wud win by, and if rossi could come 2nd or not...well even i got proved wrong cos i didnt think rossi had it in him, but what a nice surprise..

as for stoner's comments about being in the dirt..u got urself in there lad...chin up =]

I was very disappointed when some "fans" booed Stoner at Donington. No one deserves that!
However having just seen the post race interview with the BBC where Stoner refused to shake Rossi's hand I have to say that I have a modicum of understanding as to why so many people don't like Casey. Today he was beaten by a better rider. Period. He needs to grow up. He might look like a teenager but he needs to behave like an adult.

Get over it Stoner! you was beaten fair and square. You may have been world champion but you should look at Doohan/Bayliss/Corser/Vermulen etc(ie Great Aussie riders) and get a personality. Your whine at the end of the race was no more than we could expect from you!

Never ever count Rossi out.Back when he was at NASA/HRC and it looked so easy,I wondered how good he really was?When he and his team jumped to the lowly Yamaha camp I found out.
And even then they were adapting tires designed for HRC.But they had one BIG advantage--Rossi!Just like today!G-out!

breathtaking stuff..i was hanging off the sides of my recliner in each turn...Rossi's tactical ride was a masterpiece to watch..perhaps someday Stoner won't have the fastest ride in the race, and will need to know how to win on a slower machine..this race will be one for him to study, eh... Rossi won on pure skill and balls, riding a slower bike. The champ hasn't cried about it when Stoner beat him in recent races.. perhaps Stoner has a bit to learn about class as well

If any tiny advantage can be gained both on the bike or in the mind vr (like all multi world champions) will always take it, and it looks like mr stoner spat the dummy a bit when he refused to 'shake' so giving mr rossi a nice big brain software boost which will be just as important as any t/c update.

i didnt watch the race on eurosport, am gonna download that version tomorrow...

but it must have been funny, especially after moody and ryder were stuck up stoners backside all weekend..

still cant believe rossi won, its not often u see a miracle, unless u watch motogp of course :blush:

Talking about commentaries, Motogp's are pretty good, except at each GP the non-rider guy (sorry I can't remember, is he Jonathan ? ) begins to talk about championship points and rankings BEFORE the end of the race, whereas there are many fantastic battles that we can't see and that he should comment instead ! Not even reminding what everybody knows about motorsports, a race is not won until the chequered flag, but I was furious, in the last 3 or 4 laps, to hear almost nothing of the great battle for 4th between Dovi, Hayden and De Puniet, and even less about Toseland, Spies, Elias, Nakano having a titanesque dice for 7th :(

That is the problem with Casey Stoner, "little boy with big toy". He does not seem to fit with a world champion title.

Rossi has been beaten by him for the previous 3 races and not complaining a bit about it. He is a truly world champion inside out.

For me, this race is a pure joy to watch and all the manouvres were clean for a race.

Stop whining Casey! And grow up!
