Just watched the interviews...

stoner is pathetic...was that a break check...who knows...no respect at all, and now i know i was right not to be a big fan of this lad..

yes it was heated and unless he comes out and makes an apology for acting like a child and his comments in the interview, i doubt he'll have many fans at all...apart from the little groupies who'll stick by his side..

rossi has made a miracle today, everyone was wondering how much stoner wud win by, and if rossi could come 2nd or not...well even i got proved wrong cos i didnt think rossi had it in him, but what a nice surprise..

as for stoner's comments about being in the dirt..u got urself in there lad...chin up =]

I'm confused. For people to say that the Eurosport boys are 'up the Ducati ****s', they obviously couldn't have been listening to the Ducati TV propoganda unit that is the BBC. That car idiot with Parish had stoner, sorry, moaner on his "big red bike, etc." winning it at every corner/straight/bit in between.
And what was all that nonsense on about the hire car in the commentary. Just because these clowns have little knowledge on the subject, don't subject me to a right load of old drivel.
Did I read that someone actually missed seeing S. Perry.I suppose it's true that we had no one to ask riders what colour socks they're wearing or some other insipid question. Has she put weight on this year?

Rossi gave Stoner a lesson in what pure talent and determination can accomplish. A pity Stoner can't learn an equally important trait that seperates the truly great from the rest: Class! Rossi's always had it and it appears Stoner never will. What a knob...

That was very un-professional on stoners part and I can understand why no one really likes him it has to be clean or he runs away and pouts like a girl he will never get my respect as a racer and to further confirm he is a poor loser. In a world where millions of dollars are paid to racers with some of the best equipment money can produce
he is supposed to be able to ride no matter what and frankly ROSSI is and always will be the greatest of time...Stoner you are a cry baby..You don't desrve the title that you hold and probably wouldn't have had it if Rossi wasn't having teething problems with the Yamaha 2yrs. your a serious cry baby take you toys and go HOME B&&&^(^&^*^

Rossi rattled the cage, Stoner lost his composure and was outsmarted. Classic of age and experience beating youth & skill. That Ducati is definitely a handful. It ain't so pretty in action as the Yamaha. Watching it at close quarters from the best seat in the house would have confirmed to Rossi that he made the right decision staying with Yamaha. It IS a better bike. And then you put a maestro on it. Other Yamahas were on Michelins and the potentially second strongest of them exited lap 0.4. BIG up to Chris V. Really showed Hayden up big time. So did Doviziso! Remember, this is his first race at Laguna. Other big UP was Spies. AMA Superbike Champ beat SWC Champ, in his second GP ride

Someone should put Stoner in front a TV and play him DVD's of Schwantz & Rainey at the height of their powers in the early 90's.

If Stoner wants to know what hard passes are, then Mr.Rainey & Mr.Schwantz will oblige.

Best MotoGp race in years.

The recent software updates help Rossi today, beat Stoner. I think if Stoner had of shown more patience, he would have beaten Rossi today. Let's hope the lad learns some lessons.

Stoner admits he made a mistake today that lost him the race. I don't see that as whinging. The only whinging I have seen is from the English Rossi fans on here.

Very typical English form.

Congratulations Rossi, Stoner & Vermuelen!

Casey refusing to shake hands with Rossi is no different to when Gibernau didn't do likewise after Rossi forced him off track a few years back to take the win at Mugello.

Today, Rossi went off at the Corkscrew and came back onto the track and pushed Casey sideways and almost off the road on the downhill to regain the lead. Casey has every right to be angry and question the incident.

Casey is more upset with himself for making the error which ultimately cost him the chance of victory.

Would you prefer to see a robot or a human? Seems, ironically, the Rossi fans want a robot.

Congrats to VR and his team who appear to have pulled a setup rabbit out of the hat for the race(Just as DP did in Spain).

This class is a lot closer with the top three than some think. It is a pity DP was not fit and there as maybe we could have had a threesome fighting for the lead.

I can understand CS's thoughts on some of VR's passing moves. I have commented a few times that while VRs passing moves are brilliant they are very late and often after turn in has begun. This puts the other rider in a difficult position of either backing out of the turn and loosing lots of ground or holding their line and taking each other out. Yes brilliant but very high risk.

It''s funny how blind people are with their bias. Point blank anyone who watch that race could see that Rossi's only chance was to block Casey any chance he got because if he didn't Casey would have walked away. It was a great strategy but you can't say that Rossi's riding was borderline dirty. He almost cleaned both of them out at the bottom of the corkscrew when he went off the track.

my problem with Rossi is that when things are going well for him everything is fine, but whenever someone rides aggressive with him he complains. So if he is going to ride like that then he shouldn't complain when others "do what they must" to win or stay in front of someone.
