It was a real Race. Just ignore the Spoilt Brat. He is not happy when he comes in 2nd. He is not Happy when he comes in 3rd. He is not Happy when he comes in 4th. Practically the team had to push him to continue when he was coming in 16th. He wants to be first all of the time. Otherwise he wants his Soccer ball back and go home so that no one else can play if they dont let him score.

Just for kicks and giggles, imagine for a second if you all will............. Think about how that race would have turned out had Rossi been riding like a bat outta H-E-Double L on the Ducati like he was on the M1! NASA would have had to send a space shuttle to catch him! LMAO! Pointless thinking I know but, had he been on the Ducati, there's a good chance that Stoner would have still had a little dignity left even after losing by over a minute (LOL!!!!) but, on the flip-side we would have missed out on one heck of a race! GOOOOOOOOOO ROSSI!

To be a champion, you gotta ride like a champion. People pay good money to see a good race and that's exactly what we got here in the U.S. I haven't seen Rossi ride like this since he was rivals with Sete. Racing is racing.. No matter what you do, how you do it the objective is to win.. In regards to Stoner not shaking Rossi's hand, what can you say? You gotta learn to be a loser… You can't win them all… A true champ admits when he's beaten and has no excuses and will only push himself to do better on the next race…. (Stoner, … Rossi rode way better than you, he made you crack twice.. and that's all I gotta say)

i think that was the most entertaining MotoGP race for a long time....watching 2 riders really going for the lead (Rossi mainly) and wanting it so badly, it made me happy to be a motorcycle racing fan again. If stoner can't get past rossi and stay infront so rossi cannont retake him its his own problem. get sum balls casey and stop winging, everyone is sick of it. (being beaten in a dog fight by valentino is nothing to be ashamed of, just say that on the day you couldnt better him!!!!)

once again fantastic race, real edge of the seat stufffffff wwwwwwwwwwoooooooo!!!! :D

Maybe we got a good race at Lugana because for once Rossi managed to start from the front row. Rossi's qualifying is usually pretty poor averaging around 5th to 7th. Let's hope that Rossi can improve his qualifying positions for the remainder of season because if he can't then Dani and Casey will again run away with the races.

Changing tack slightly: Laguna is not the first ever Rossi/Stoner dog fight. Catalunya 2007 was just the same and that battle went to the last lap and a Stoner victory. So don't go posting that Stober can't fight because until this Laguna race every other time that Rossi and Stoner have found themselves chalanging each other Stoner has come out on top.

I watched the race again but this time on Motogp.com, I noticed that Casey was able to always open the throttle at 100% as he was exiting the corners every single time, Rossi was taking around a second longer to get the trottle open at 100%.

This tells a story wich also back's up what alot of us have suspected all along, Casey is able to just ring the bikes neck coming out of the corners, Rossi is not able to or maybe don't need to.

As has been said many times on this post & the other big post the ducati was moving around an awful lot, check out rossi's bike & it hardly moved.

Jacko,
check back & u will see that Rossi has beaten stoner more than once in battles.

Nigel,i'll second your comments about Stoners throttle graph during the race, it was something i picked up on whilst watching it aswell.

Makes you wonder what would happen if the TC systems were turned off, i would suspect it would come down to the riders feel and i don't think there is anyone else like rossi in this respect.

I'll be surprised if Burges will say anything else than what he said, he work for Rossi. Rossi did complain about Elias for the same reasons that Casey mentioned.Rossi used people as billiard balls to make a pass stick. I.e. pushing Sete into the gravel to take a win. He also did some reckless pass on Marco where Marco got injured, so his he have his share of bad maneuvers. The one on Sete not sporty at all, he just didn't give a crap if Sete manage the turn at all. Brno is a wide track, not suited for block passes etc, so it will not be easy stopping Casey there.
