It was a real Race. Just ignore the Spoilt Brat. He is not happy when he comes in 2nd. He is not Happy when he comes in 3rd. He is not Happy when he comes in 4th. Practically the team had to push him to continue when he was coming in 16th. He wants to be first all of the time. Otherwise he wants his Soccer ball back and go home so that no one else can play if they dont let him score.

well maybe thats the point? that type of racing was in the 80's & 90's... but unfortunately not anymore as it is 2008!

anyway i like both the riders and i think the cork screw move was a bit dodgy but that was the only move worth complaining about. im sure rossi wouldnt have approved if elias did the same to him (refer to turkey '07)

the positive to come out of this is it gives both riders a lil extra to prove in the coming races to decide the championship... looking forward to it! :)

And to those of you that think Casey isn't a 'racer', I think the first 20 odd laps of that race proved he is not only a superb racer, but also great at avoiding the consequences of other riders mistakes.

He may have made a mistake that ended his own race, which he copped squarely on the chin, but unlike Rossi risking an end to his race, at no point did he risk ending Rossi's.

All in all yes, it wasn't worthy of discrediting Rossi the win, and I think if you listened to him rather than just being Rossi groupies you'd see that Casey didn't discredit him the win either. He merely pointed out that certain moves were lucky to have not ended both their races.

I'd like to see any of you have a bike shoot across your path into you at warp speed and keep completely quiet about it.

Rossi was very much in control of every move he made, he said so himself. His remark that the gravel next to the curbs on the corkscrew had pretty good traction was golden, excellent :p
To make it look like wreckless riding is ridiculous and only proves you are even more sour than Casey himself just after the race (and I think he's over it already, he's a pro) .
Rossi and Stoner did us a great favor by giving us enough to talk about to span the summer break! :p

Go Vale!!! :) :) :)

Maybe we shouldn't have a race at all !!
We just take the times from the Free Practice sessions, and decide the winner after that!

it was a RACE, some people seem to think it was a sunday ride out! watch the RACE again, they were both giving and both getting it back! Stoner went up the hill to the corkscrew and clearly moved sharply over at Rossi to force him towards the edge of the track. That is racing and dominating the track to give himself advantage where he is stronger which was the straight lines... Rossi was doing similar on the brakes and round the corners where he was stronger. Rossi made a mistake at the corkscrew... Stoner made more mistakes! one included falling off unfortunately.

Rossi round the outside of stoner at turn 3... fantastic to watch!!!

The vast amount of comment on this one race shows just how boring MotoGP has become. This race happens practically every time in 125s usually from 3 up to 12 riders at once, not two riders once in a blue moon.
Rossi did nothing untoward, it's just everyone has got used to the procession that happens every race and has lost vision of what is meant to happen in racing, including the 'whinger from downunder'. If you don't like the heat get out of the kitchen.
Go Casey Go. GO HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!
