It was a real Race. Just ignore the Spoilt Brat. He is not happy when he comes in 2nd. He is not Happy when he comes in 3rd. He is not Happy when he comes in 4th. Practically the team had to push him to continue when he was coming in 16th. He wants to be first all of the time. Otherwise he wants his Soccer ball back and go home so that no one else can play if they dont let him score.

Granted I do think Casey needs to pull his head in. Great talent but comes across like too much of a brat. He needs to take a leaf out of people like Bayliss, Toseland, Edwards books, but they are all grown men and he''s not much more than a kid. Unfortunately I''m not sure if he''ll grow out of it though...

Little doubt those who point out he''s an "Aussie" whinger are English. Sorry I mean who could forget such charitable, objective and fair minded English motor racing heroes such as Nigel Mansell and Carl Fogerty.

Kids, let's not argue. That was the most beautiful 2/3 of a race I've seen in a very long time. The weather was perfect (a bit cool) and while the passing was "decisive" none of it was too aggressive. If I were Casey I'd be pissed and if I were Vale I'd be thrilled. It's racing. I have raced on this track many times (early on I was more like a moving obstacle - but you have learn somehow) and its very dificult to pass cleanly. I admire Rossi but I'm not a fan. I am a Nicky Hayden fan - so it's been a long year. But wether you love or loath Rossi you can't fault his strategy or execution. After seeing the race then watching it on TV I still can't get it out of my mind. Superb!

I think J.B suspects Valentino just made a huge mistake, the mistake was the brake testing at turn two. Casey is going to do Valentino for that. J.B is stirring it up I don't know why:
maybe for another world champioship maybe to arc Casey up and make him even tougher.
Go J.B go Casey go Valentino! and go ducati, best of luck to the crazy italians

kind regards

I think ANDREW PRO is quite right, we are not racing in the 80s and 90s when that sort of riding was considered ok, now we try to put the riders safety a higher priority. Will anything be done about such agressive riding? NO, not unless Stoner does the same on Rossi next time out, then maybe race control will have something to say!.

Brake testing at turn 2?... you dont brake test people on bikes unless you want to be hit and most likely come of worse in the resulting accident! especially not around a corner like turn 2 at laguna!... "oh yeah while its cranked over a 50+ degrees im gonna grab a handful of front brake!!!"

Brake testing is a myth, in salooncar racing with brake lights, tipping the pedal. Not in bikes.
It is a poor and sour excuse for whiners who have no idea what racing is about.
Grow up, be happy you've seen a real racer and the greatest braker on the planet at work!
I hope for all the races to be like this, adrenaline! :p

why you all quarreling about penalty as if Valentino Rossi never had it? and as if you are all smarter than FIM Officers who held the rights to conclude any rule breaking in race?

READ IT! In 2004 Qatar, Valentino Rossi got one when his team swept the asphalt where Valentino Rossi would start the race, right on the night before race day.

SO STFU!

If a rider SHOULD got a penalty because of BREAKING THE RULE, the rider WOULD HAD IT!
The FIM officers are NOT BLIND!
And till now NOT EVEN A WARNING announced from the FIM for Valentino Rossi.

SO, (AGAIN) STFU!

Yes, Valentino maybe has blown it, or at least shown his age and desperation:
just like the useless Checa, but at least Valentino wins even these days:
A worrying sign was doing for Pedrossa in practice earlier in the year, dani
could have been killed but people were outraged last year when Casey gave Charlie Chucka Checa the finger for being more obvious and inept, yeah right :-)

kind regards

We'll see, I think Valentino is in for a surprise over the next races I truly do think he has made a huge tactical mistake, it's hard to explain and maybe I'm wrong
but somehow.......
