I do hope the MotoGP does stay at donington park!
Silverstone is suited to cars and not bikes (thats from a spectators point of view).

Bugger. Thats probably the same weekend as Aberdare Road Races. Was hoping to see VR & CS head to head at a real circuit :D Afterall, Hailwood(I think), Ivy, Cooper, Foggy, Tuxworth and many more have ridden at this fabulous little circuit. And you get to see the racing at close quarters too!

Being a brit or winging pom as we are known on crash.net I think they should drop Donington, this years organisation was aweful. It's been barely worth going for the last few years. With the fuel costs and ripoff britain/donington It may well be better value almost at any of the other Euro rounds. Anyone got any recommendations as I've had enough of donington and the uk for that matter. Oh yeah **** off gorden brown.

I wouldnt bet on Donington being that more expensive to be honest! I went to Mugello this year and it cost 320 euros for two weekend tickets!! But then again the atmosphere was probably worth it. At the time I was questioning why I went all that way..... until I got back to the UK!!

AxiOfEvil you got a point with the the uk, we did live in a rip off country!
And no matter what the government never backs down to public pressure!
I think a revolution is needed here.
As for Donington i love the place, yet getting out of the place this year was mad, that was due to an accident on the exit towards the M1, as i was using the A42 exit anyway, but everyone was diverted the A42 way.
I asked a steward what was happening, and he said about the accident and donington park is under staffed in his dept, and most of the parking stewards had gone home as they finished at2 or 3 pm, he was due to finish at 6pm, but stuck it out fair play to him.
It was a mad house in the car park!

I was there it was insane. I spoke to a copper about the accident supposidly causing the problems he said there wasn't anything causing the exit problems. Just poor organisation by the donny staff.

Track is great, just a shame the organisers take the piss and extract as much cash as they can from the fans.

AxisOfEvil,
I can second that, there was as usual poor organisation at donny once again.

I did'nt pack up until around 7.30pm & waited about 2 hr's before we finaly managed to get out.

I'm not sure if we will go again camping, might decide to do the vip village next time.

hopefuly next year we can see a proper race.

Why oh why does anybody on a motorbike go to Donington on the motorway, what an absolute waste of the good A & B roads that lead to from the circuit. Me I want to wear my tyres out on the edges not just in the centre

Maybe because some of us ride our bikes more than once a year Prolific and don't just wait for Donington to go on twisty A & B roads :-)

Donnington was okay this year. After the podium we left on our bikes and it took us about 30 mins from getting on our bikes in the car park to joining the M1 motorway. Not so bad if you ask me...
