Carmelo Ezpeleta did the mistake of his life in giving manufacturers so much power over the classes rules.

With the 600''s the European manufacturers will be out of the game overnight.

One word 'HONDA'

How much is Marshmellow Expletive getting in that brown envelope. The whole deal stinks higher than a skunks sock. :?

Damn both of them!

Ok so how many manufacturers put their names forward? Was it really just the one?

So, what is the average age of a rider moving from 125 to 250? Are these "kids" going to be OK dealing with a 600 machine after a 125?

I dare say that the 125's will be next Calvin... :? (pooooo!)
I still don't see the logic behind a 600cc feeder class for MotoGP. Sigh

Bums!

2 strokes are far less forgiving and require much more skill as a rider. Had motogp still be 2 strokes then Rossi would have won another two titles.

Good riddance. I never watch the 123/250 races and would prefer the 600 machines as they would give a better spectacle. The 125 would continue for the kids but not be part of the MotoGP weekend. WSBK is getting better than MotoGP as a show because of the 600/1000 classes.

@Edward: What do you mean more spectacle... If you admit to not watching them how can you say that 600cc would be a better spectacle than the current 250s? I love the 250 and 125 classes. You get some close racing and huge amounts of overtaking in a normal race.

I have to say the 600cc (esp the production 600 engine idea) class sounds ridiculous when the top class is only 200cc more.
