I reckon his will do OK at Ducati. There was some luck involved in 2006. But he was a consistant front runner that year. He just can't rider the tiny Honda which is much more suited Pedrosas smooth style.

The Ducati is big and has some raw power, thats what Haydon prefers, it's closer to a Superbike than the Honda is and he would do well on it.

But he beat Rossi, which means instant hatred from 80% of the people that read Crash.

Nicky stated on a BBC interview with Suzie Perry, that the 2008 bike is not too small anymore - and he has 'no excuses' if he doesn't perform.

Nice guy though, can't fault his effort in trying.

If he doesn't get on the factory Ducati team for '09 put him at Xerox Ducati, I bet he'd do well in WSBK. I'm not a huge fan of the guy, but he's got talent and isn't deserving of the barage of insults thrown at him here (I don't think any of the MotoGP riders are).

What's the big deal? He wasn't gonna be at Honda next year any way. Matter of fact he should have left last year. And how do any of you know if he hasn't already signed a contract to ride for next year with anyone? You don't. He's a racer - if he wanted to race than so be it.

Bladder...obviously the major constituant of your brain is what comes out of your bladder.

Ever think..Honda WANTED him to ride in the X-Games for exposure in their prime demographic?(look it up)

It probably never entered your mind the reason Honda races motorcycles..is to SELL motorcycles..did it? YOU...grow up

I work for Honda and belive that Nicky will have a ride with us if he still wants it! He is not happy with his current package, the fact that people don't rate him is ******* stupid you do not win a world championship by accident! I think that his issues are completely in his mental form and not his riding abilities. Hope HRC gives his ride to someone not off the MotoGP grid but the WSBK grid or from the 250 class. Nicky has had a bad year at work! I hope he gets better soon and I hope he gets back on form because his sideways/backing in stuff is really great to watch, to give it to Dovi will undermind him even more than he has been by the press and all the so-called experts. Good luck Dani

Hayden gets paid millions of pounds to ride MOTO GP,so why is he getting injured in this rubbish X games
You wont see Rossi or Stoner doing anything stupid and getting injured a week before the race. As Captain Mannering would say.................. " stupid boy "
The way things are going there's going to be about 14 riders on the Moto Gp grid with all these injuries
