Clearly the standouts of the competition once again doing battle, already their times are quite phenominal. Pity there aren''t more racers on the time sheets, sure it''s early, but ominous for the rest. Here''s hoping it''s another close one.

Nice to see Vale up there in front. Allthough Casey is on his heels. Looks like the two of them are far ahead of the rest.
The Michelin riders don't look that good today. First 10 places is only one Michelin rider (and it''s a satelite rider too)
Rossi did a good thing switching to bstones. Allthough many doubted his desicion, the doctor is right again!

In Laguna Rossi had a 3/4 second deficit yet he did well. This is gonna be much closer with Rossi on the bridgestones. Talking about Bridgestones all the B riders floated up and the M riders sinking to the bottom. Except for AW. So the Kawasaki with John Hopkins is doing alright on 5th . AW has to do better. And Shinya Nakano is really up there. Wonder what will be in Nicky Hayden's mind :-o
Thankful that Rossi changed tires otherwise the season would be over by next couple of races like last year
