i agree Rico but i dont like the idea of single tyre rule. We must remember it was bridgestone who were struggling a few years back and there were no calls for a single tyre rule then was there?? i am all in favour of banning the electronics because it should be the rider in control of the bike!

How about we put a couple of Humps on every Corner to slow the Riders down. Seems to work in my neighborhood for the safety of the kids. hahaha :D

Dorna are quite canny and know that one of Moto GP's biggest draws is the competitive/close racing that you get, with lots of overtaking which generally makes a race exciting. Take away the competitive/close racing and you get a procession that resembles Formula One.

Whilst having two tyre companies involved should ensure competitive rivalry, the fact remains that most of last year and this year there has been one tyre stronger than the other. Whilst Bridgestone have normally had the upper hand, Michelin on occasion have had the advantage. You then get two races in one, which really is not good – just look at Brno and Laguna Seca. WSBK has been transformed by having one tyre manufacturer and I think that Dorna should seriously consider this option for the sake of the viewers. If viewers start switching off – so do the sponsors and the grid is pretty bare as it is…..

Donnie: WSBK is great racing and its close with 2 races per meet and you get the super sposrts as well. They are on pay tv so i dont see them but I have recently seen a tape and it was feckin tops!!! THAT IS WHAT MOTOGP SHOULD BE AIMING FOR.

Its all about safety. Bearing that in mind I would advocate that an anything goes policy should be allowed for anything to do with development. Yes the riders and machines will go faster, yes the tyres will improve all round, and yes the spectators will get a spectacle. But safety must improve to accomodate these things and to do this all of the existing gravel traps and air fencing on every circuit should be immediately replaced with marshmallows. This is imperitive to protect the riders. You know it makes sense! :)

Chances are, what country are you in? Here is oztrailya i can't figure out any way to watch wsbk, apart from the (ahem) frowned upon. The sbk site just gives me a message that videos are unavailable in my region/country or whatever. I'm guessing pay tv have a contract over here to hold back interest in the competition. Gives me the willies I tell ya.

Whilst I'd love to see the smoking 990's back it's not going to happen.
TC in a limited form is fine and will be with us regardless as it'll be programmed into the ecu and will be a benefit to road users down the line. We can dumb it down though by banning the GPS/gyro systems so that they are no longer programming the bike for each corner. This is stuff that costs the teams loads of time/effort/money. Also of NO benefit on the road.
Add going to steel brakes, should reduce top speeds as braking distances lengthen and it would allow for wheel swaps in wet races rather than bike swaps (active suspension is already being developed so you could program a wet setting, spring rates aside).

Put the buggers on Pirelli control tyres, i'd like to see them trying some high corner speeds on those pieces of italian crap!

Or just make everyone the same weight as Hayden, this would definately slow the 800's up, it worked for Nicky!!!! :p
