When the tough get going, Dani goes home!!!!

Sure Michelin are having a crap time of it at the moment, but it ain't going to get better by not having the supposed no'1 rider spitting his dummy out cos it's not going right, just who is supposed address Michelins issues then?

Whats up with todays GP rider are they men or just spolit bloody kids, first Stoner and now Pedrobot....if i were Honda, i'd suspend Pedrobot for two races give his bike to Nakano.

Go back 15 or 20 years i couldn't see Lawson, Schwantz, Rainey & co pissing about like this!

The smartest guy this whole weekend was Nicky Hayden. I know he is glad he didn't have to deal with Michelin's disaster this weekend. I wonder how Nicky feels about Pedrobot leaving the test? He can't be pleased......

Not sure he'll be too worried if he is off to Ducati to partner Stoner , i honestly reckon he'll go great on the Duc.
Melandri on the Kowee , let's hope it fires him up neareer the pointy end too.

Tim Bo, yes I agree he has thrown his dummy alittle but given the current scenario ( and i agree my conspirasy theory on BS is just that) you can't blame him too much.. like yo say we will see.

Have to agree on paper the Duke looks better suited to Nicky's riding (although I just DO NOT believe that Honda made a bike for anyone other than Honda, thats like saying ducati made a bike for stoner who did not even ride for them yet) the 800's were smaller capcaticy so the 250 style was honda's plan (handling over power) where Ducati when the other way. Am amazed at melandri to Kwaka lets hope he fairs better!!

I really hope that Moto GP does not move to control tyre, Michelin will have to come back to the front. It has gone in waves with different tyre manufacturers having success for years, remember when Dunlop won races in 500's. Michelin have won races this year, surely they didn't just go to sleep one night and just forget how to make a good tyre.
I'm not quite sure, but did Michelin go and test at Brno after the resurface, if not then that is pretty lazy and quite deserving to get egg on your face. Simular problem in the USA, seems bridgestone have good info from Firestone/Bridgestone. Remember the F1 race at Indy a couple of years ago.

Darkwaknight-with the movers this winter it could be a very interesting season in 2009 for sure,i'd like to see Nicky on the pace on the Duc and Melandri on the Kowee as well.
Ducati built a race bike,it happens that it suited Casey perfectly when he got on it even though it was designed before he had even slung a leg over it,he is young enough to adapt and understand what is required to get the best out of the bike he is given, which is something that is failing Marco at the present time.
Let's hope that Michelin ( if they are still in it )are the equal to Bridgestone next season as for sure i want to see Pedrosa battling with Casey , Vale , Jorge etc.
Fingers crossed 'eh.

Are some you people so naive to think that Dani has the clout to call off his testing.
Until he has won at least a couple of championships he wouldn't have that much say.

It's the team manager that decides such things perhaps with a node ok from Honda's emperor!

I wouldn't want to risk my no1 rider to test slippery tyres. What's the points of testing even more powerful engine with tyres that don't grip. Go home don't get injured doing something pointless.

Tim Bo -I concur your statements my friend 100% I would hate too see a control tyre and would love to see Danni fighting with Rossi/Stoner on equal tyres so we can have exciting racing again.

Just look at Laguna a very good race and very exciting but 3 years ago we were getting them week in week out with sete/rossi and or others.

I can't help but feel that the 800cc switch has helped make this racing less exciting.. bring back the good old days (brno when Biaggi 'Elbowed' rossi and the cool retake and the finger...classic!!)

Control tyre would probably be a good thing.

While competition is good for development and it all trickles down to us mere mortals (lets hope not in Michelin case!) I'm quite happy with my sticky rubbers for now.

I want know who the best racer is, all else being equal... control rubber and bare minimum control electronics.
