Saltbush is closet stoner fanboy, has been all year, I've yet to see a commbnt from him that is not a double edge incinuation of Stoners brilliance and Rossi's luck, or gifted rides on a better bike. Personally Moto I thought your info was good..

Oh yeh, I'm one of the low IQ Rossi fans, I think it's mainly because I don't like Stoner as a person....

Salty, chill out, the Stoner bashing has got you hot under the collar, moto is not stirring but helping us all get a few facts out of the soup... can we all agree that a stone lodged in the inlet tract rendering the modulation of fuel/air mixture inoperative thus causing the engine to fail to continue to deliver power? I think the motoGP article was very badly written BUT at least we know why he had to park the thing and retire. To me that's an explanation of a question I am glad has been answered: it settles any niggling doubt that there was any EMS failure that lead to the off in the first place and Stoner's straight-up 'my mistake' remains as the definitive reaqson.

Salty, fwiw - and I suspect you're an Aussie - I intensly dislike the Stoner bashing as he seems very similar to my own older son who is very good at what he does (not motorcycle racing) but is extremely shy and hasn't developed much social savvy. Many young- and not so young - Aussies from country backgrounds are similar, they hate any sort of spotlight but Stoner can't escape. I hate the Rossi bashing because the guy is so damn good and it seems that some people need to justify their own inadequacies by pulling down those who are successful - but he is a mature and incredibly urbane character who has the inate ability to overlook the petty chatter. Don't let the numptys beat you.
