The 2007 Kawasaki was a reasonable tool.... the 2008 Kawasaki has been totally off the pace.

So what do you do?

If you are a clued up company you would sack the technical director, if you are Kawasaki you sack the rider....

Talk about shooting the messenger... :?

What are some of you lot on about?

Westy will ride out the 2008 season and he far from sorted the bike out in Japan, he used time to get the bike to suit him and just him.

Kawasaki have been good to Westy, they had/have plenty of reason to get rid of him.
They will find him a place in wsbk/wss too, but unless he finishes top 6 rest of the season there is no place in motogp for him.

Don't know why people don't see this and personally I like Westy and I am a huge Kawasaki fan.

What are you guys smoking? West has been consistantly outpaced by his teammate, and not by a position or two, by a huge margin. He's had one good race, which if not for the Michelin problems would have been a 10th-12th.

The bike obivously isn't the best in the paddock, but everyone else who's got on it has gone faster then West.
