Make it 3 bikes per manufacturer! We need a full grid like SBK.

Yes he beat hoppper , but on a far better machine. I feel its time more young blood came into the sport instead of the old guard keeping their rides. Capirossi is a great rider but he will never be a w/c , although he deserved it in 2006. Maybe a year in wsb to cool down to retirement?

What the hell are you talking about? Hopkins placed 4th last year in the championship on the Suzuki where as Loris is only 10th on the same bike. So how in the world did he kick more ass than him? Your question should be why is Loris, who has been in the top class off and on since '95 is still in MotoGP. Get you facts straight before you slag off other riders. Hopper missed most of this year with injury.

What's even more amazing is that you have people that agree with you! Hopper gets hurt and miss some races now people wish him out of GPs! Anti-Americans!

Capirossi brings in more money to the team than the new blood that's why they will keep him on until a better deal comes along

I am not familiar with he current crop of 250 riders, and a SB rider like Spies will be handicapped by having no knowledge of the tracks, so assuming no hot prospects in the feeder classes, Loris was a safe choice and no doubt will put in a good showing from time to time. But I hate to see the old guard hanging on for dear life and the younger riders who really need to be given a chance, denied. Spies problem is he makes too much money where he is (that situation is in flux) and would be foolish to jump for a 2nd class ride. But do we know the real capabilities of the Suzuki. It does seem to have improved.

too right Steve... A bit like Edwards... not the best rider out there but a remembered-in-20-years legend of MotoGP that have HUGE fan bases all over the world and are total ambasadors for the sport

The writer could not even read the story correctly before copying it. Denning all but RULED OUT a third Suzuki for 2009.

It's one thing completely ripping off other websites, but at least have the decency to read the stories more than once....
