I hope some one in this Forum with a mathematical interest will help us Calculate what Distance will be covered in the Long straight in that short dash difference in estimated Meters or bike lengths 10 kph makes.

honestly, i think this injury is possibly fake. its like this, "any" sportsperson that recieves this kind of injury would be operated on immediately (pinned), because as a few have already stated, the blood supply to this area of the hand is minimal, therefore the healing process is greatly reduced, and even when it is healed the chances of repeat injury are high unless it is pinned. fact!

I don't know who the fool is but oscar is right for FP2 and for the whole Session Yes Doodaa the whole session Rossi's Fastest Top Speed was 271 and his average of his Top 5 speeds was 270.5 Stoners fastest Top speed was 269.9 and his average of his top 5 speeds was 269.6. I would suggest you look properly before you abuse some one next time.

Saran, the difference is counted only at the speed trap, it doesn't mean the bikes have this difference all along the straight. There could be a case where a machine accelerates better out of the final turn but another bike develops more kph at the end of it so the time they take to cover the straight might be similar. So it's very very difficult to make calculations about how much ground the slower bike will lose over the faster without telemetry data on the full length of the straight (and then you'd need college grade mathematics to calculate it).

RW-- yeah well all the blogs were sent after FP3 and I reckon the rest of the known universe thought we were talking about that, and not what happened the day before. If you are talking about something totally unrelated please could you qualify it first as I feel completely stupid now... :)

The post if you read them stated at the time FP2, you where the one that was attacking Oscar over his comments about FP 2 well after these post and then FP3 was run.
Doodaa there are some good posters who want to dicuss and debate and there are some that just want to attack people I suggest you read the post again and Maybe a apology might be in order

Both yourself and Oscar are total pedants, I was quoting what was happening not trying to use old( the day befores results) to prove something that had as we were speaking been totally disproved. Apart from on this site you will have trouble getting to people to believe information that has been superseeded by more current information. When I quoted 10 secs it was what was happening at that moment. To say, but he was only 1kph faster the day before, seems pretty pointless. If you want to stick to old news for your dubious facts I suggest you join the BBC site... I make no apologies for stating the correct figures......
