These pole positions don't mean very much in the long run. I remember one year when Christian Sarron got a string of pole positions...I think it was 5 or 6. More than anyone else that year. It was Lawson who won the championship, the races and the glory. Hardly anyone remembers Sarron. However, Stoner has won more races in his short time at the top of the class than Sarron ever did, so that is certainly a good indicator of a brilliant career ahead of him.

I'm with you Bazza, while these schizoid obsessives are sitting around playing circle-jerk, and praying to an effigy of Valentino, some of us appreciate the efforts of the other competitors out there. If George is on the pace it would be interesting to see if his ego overrides the Fiat team orders. He's great to watch and a real nutcase, but I turn off when he starts the Valentinoesque post race dress up. I hope CV shows some mongrel too, I'm disappointed in how it appears he is being treated by ****suki.

Cannot be fun for Casey riding with the pain, but modern medicine can work wonders these days. Here's wishing for a great race. Hope Lorenzo and Dani can mix it with the top two, and even Elias again, as long as he doesn't impact on the championship (Rossi's bogey rider and all that). Go JT, CV and AW

i'm a rossi fan, but most of all a motogp fan! and i really think that maybe stoner is not at rossi's height but everybody must agree that he is the only one deserving to be called the "future". many others are VERY fast and good but he is the only one so far to have prooven he can cope with the weight of being champion and fighting for keeping it.
