Stoner is a busted flush now. Rossi has messed with his head so much that he thinks the only way he can win is dash to the front and create as big a gap as he can coz he knows head to head in a battle, Rossi will have the beatings of him.
Twice now he has tried this and fallen off in the process.
Game over.

Stoner always does that stratospheric laps where he is 1 second faster than everybody else in stints of 4-5 laps in practice. Maybe he has very few fuel in the tank and very soft tyres on. In race day everybody is much close to him, and pushing like he does for 28 laps it´s very, very difficult not to crash. Last year he would push for 5 or 6 laps and then just laid back because he would gain 7 or 8 seconds of advantage. But now, Rossi can run the same pace of Stoner, so he keeps pushing until somebody cracks, and that somebody it has been him. I don´t think he is the fastest ryder, he simply has another way to work for the race than Valentino. In race day, this year there have been races

After the Laguna race in the pit when Rossi told him "this is racing Casey" he replied "we will see..." Job well done by
Vale he messed Gibernau Junior's head up big time... Now he needs a software patch also because it seems to be out of sync with his bike's control system.
He set a MotoGP record of having the most pole positions in a row (do anyone really cares about it when he keeps crashing on races? He wants to be dominant and to be on the top of the time sheets from FP1 but instead of trying too hard he could learn a few tricks from the good old Vale. :-)

like Qatar, Laguna and Donnington that Stoner was faster than Rossi, races that they have the same pace (Brno, Misano, Germany) and races where Rossi has been faster (Le Mans, China, Mugello, Catalunya). So, in race day, when it counts, I think Rossi has been faster in more circuits than Stoner. Just my opinion...

Willy. first of all i don't really like the guy, second I'm not his lawyer.
don't forget that Qali times and race times are different see the times from morning practice compared to midday and see that the cooler the track is the faster you go.
i live close to Misano and i can tell you that today was hell outside.
i went out to smoke a sig at the commercial break and could not finish it it was crazy outside today.
he definitely had the speed its the experience and cool head he needs to gain.
