Stoner is a busted flush now. Rossi has messed with his head so much that he thinks the only way he can win is dash to the front and create as big a gap as he can coz he knows head to head in a battle, Rossi will have the beatings of him.
Twice now he has tried this and fallen off in the process.
Game over.

Ok, who unplugged Service Pack 3 upgrade on Casey's bike?
(I See the Rossi fan club giggling with a USB lead in their hands!).

Ohh dear what a boring race, I was looking for second hand motorbikes whilst watching the race on TV and talking to my nan. Better not get like F1....then again with F1, I usually watch the News, Plan tommorows day at work and put the baby in the bath whilst watching the race - so not as boring as F1 - yet.

Poor Casey - except he's loaded and has a gorgeous young wife.
Casey is one lucky guy, both on AND off the track it seems.

Cheers up Cssey, life could be worse - you could be Dani Pedrosa about to make an EPIC FAIL as he cannot adopt to Bridgestones.

Actually Raydog, Livio Suppo said the same (Stoners fall caused by his hand injury). However Ducati Designer Filippo Prezisiosi said he was having trouble adapting to the front tyre. Who is telling the truth? Racing with a broken scaphoid must be really painfull, he did short stints in practice but race distance is a different thing.

I blame this boring race on Pedrosa. If he hadn't shot out in front of everyone except Stoner we might have at least had a pass or two before Stoner low-sided. I'm sick of Dani Pedrosa's jack-rabbit starts to nowhere. Then again, that's what he's paid to do.

As for Stoner: get your **** together! You have proven to everyone except yourself that this crazy strategy doesn't work this year. You have two choices now: 1) continue your crashing ways or 2) be brave and fight it out with Rossi mano a mano like you did at Laguna. Fans everywhere are hoping you pick option 2.

Today's race distance for Stoner wasn't more than a short stint. If he had lost his pace in the last third of the race, one could think that it was from his injury. But dropping the bike well in the first third of the race... come on. He are not that stupid.

I think they should ditch TC and just let riders fight it out the way it was meant to be, bike against bike , rider against rider, only then can we have a real champ, I would still put my £££ on Vale.
You see he has been a great ambassador for this sport, never gets the hump , always plays the game with everyone involved and has never lost his will to do better.

CS can learn so much and should take a leaf out of Rossi's book and adapt it to his way, he will be a great rider but he must learn instead of thinking he knows it all already

Argentinian football legend Diego Maradona told motogp.com, 'It is always great to come back to Italy and to see Valentino here surrounded by all his fans is a real pleasure. He is a big part of the story of the sport and there was no way I wanted to miss this! I am very happy to be here because I have waited for it for a long time.´

Having greeted the World Championship leader before the race, which Rossi of course went on to win, Maradona gave his thoughts on the 2008 title battle saying, 'Well I hope it is Valentino Rossi who wins because he does so much for the sport. He is a figure like Tiger Woods or Michael Jordan who I would love to meet as well.´

Some people should learn :):)

agreed non-plussed - Stoner needs a new strategy for race weekends, i know loads of people will be saying 'he going fastest isn't he? thats the whole point isn't it? ' however when dealing with rossi you need to be a bit smarter than that you need to try to burst rossi's confidence ballon by mixing it up a bit rather than whipping off for 3-4laps during qualifying, thinking everyones impressed then whipping off during the race forcing your own pace and crashing...not much of a strategy.
