Stoner and Stoner fans are afraid again. Remember when Stoner said: you always want what you can't have. Remember when Stoner fans said: Danny will be slower with Bridgestones. WISHFUL THINKING!

Rossi and Rossi fans say: bring it on. Bring on spec tires and competition. A true racer wants to race the best.

Cowardly Stoner and Cowardly Stoner fans say: Noooo. Only Stoner can have good tires, good traction control, good top end speed. Nooo.

It just shows that Stoner and his fans are fools who are living in fantasy land. Get real you foos. :D

Yah, it is a bit of an interesting decision considering how competitive Michelin have become, but how long will that last?

Perhaps Dani wanted to switch as soon as possible to get the tire testing out of the way so in the off season he can fully test the new Honda. He's a professional motorcycle racer and a multiple World Champion, I'm sure he knows what he's doing.

Even if it was a bit of a slap in the face for Michelin to switch mid-season, if riders want to be competitive and give us fans a race to watch, who can blame em'?

98 comments yesterday on the news of the switch with the majority saying Pedrosa was "nuts" and only 20 today with the news he was fast enough to have won the race.....

Only with the Air valved bike, otherwise he would have been in the same position

At the end of the day I think it should be stated that a bike or its tires CAN be so bad that no matter how good a rider you are you won't win. I think Dani is a good enough rider to challenge for the WC and I think being 14th in some races on Michelin is not simply that he can't ride I think the tires are an issue. Still I think Lorenzo will be a bigger danger than Dani to Rossi (esp nxt yr), I just hope both Dani and Lorenzo come on in the next few races to give Rossi a challenge and us a race worth watching.

Honda has data with Bridgestone and they will adopt the factory bike quickly (who knows what went on behind the doors already it seems Repsol Honda "rules" the championchips). It will also boost Pedrosa's confidence knowing he's on the same tires as Rossi and Stoner. He has race winning potential no question whenever he can make a rabbit start/race and beeing 15kg lighter than the competition it is guaranteed. For me the big question is Lorenzo. In my opinion he is the real deal he has balls and style but I don't know if he will switch to BS. I hope he will because he cannot be WC contender if Michelin will fail on one or two races next year as they did in Laguna and Brno.

Very Interesting, Can't wait the next scheduled race and it will be a tight race since Lorenzo seems has come back, Dani with his new rubber and new faster "toy", while Rossi is still on fire.
They will fight each other before someone comes out to challenge the Red king of "beef" power. Ahh.... still two weeks, feels like 2 months

Looking at Dani's performance in the premier class, we can conclude that he doesn't have the fighting abilities but did Repsol Honda offered him good package after Rossi's departure(from Honda).

Switch back to those 250 races in which Dani used to ride & dominate most of the races & championship too. Also a closest rival to Stoner.

Why is he always the victim? Remember Rossi lost 2 championships on a poor package. Everybody blamed the package(as it should be). Same is the case for Dani, u offer him a powerful package & he gotta go.His uncompetitiveness is coz of his lack of confidence from the bike.

Nevertheless I think he has started to develop one for him.... :)

well i cant believe Dani was fulfilled my wish so early mid season to see him on fully featured Bridgestone shod Honda RC212V with Pneumatics.

Atleast he'll leave the paddock with a good package beneath him & dont drive like a handicapp there. :-o
