Stoner and Stoner fans are afraid again. Remember when Stoner said: you always want what you can't have. Remember when Stoner fans said: Danny will be slower with Bridgestones. WISHFUL THINKING!

Rossi and Rossi fans say: bring it on. Bring on spec tires and competition. A true racer wants to race the best.

Cowardly Stoner and Cowardly Stoner fans say: Noooo. Only Stoner can have good tires, good traction control, good top end speed. Nooo.

It just shows that Stoner and his fans are fools who are living in fantasy land. Get real you foos. :D

You need to get the Wax out of your ears wax49. I wrote just wait till indy for the excuse

He can't get ahead of Pedrosa no matter what. My comments were about the HRC factory Teammates. Compare him with Jorge Lorenzo , Whether inferior machinery or tires he pushes the limit. will push for his 2nd win and that as a rookie will be a bigger achievement.

Sorry I have no links for the quote. Maybe I will rephrase it. The NH "fans" will have a new excuse.

Pedrosa is just like Stoner, drives fast when he is alone but in battle he chickens out.
Lorenzo will be a much greater competetor (have balls and doesn't chicken out for a fight)next year because i don't believe Michelin will be in MotoGP next year.

But i do have my question about the time Pedrosa drove yesterday......centainly not the same rubber Stoner and Rossi drove sunday.

Appie Pappie: "centainly not the same rubber Stoner and Rossi drove sunday"

Who knows what went on (and for how long) behind the scenes. But seemingly it was harder to convince Bridgestone after last season to support tires for Rossi than now in Pedrosa's case in mid season. I suppose they had spec tires for him already...

Lorenzo certainly have balls, but currently doesn't have the proper stick to play with.
Give him Bridgestone, and we'll see a great battle in every single race.

I think it's a very wise move by Dani and HRC to make an immediate change. Rossi has this years WC, and who really cares who is second or third? Better to wheel out all the trick bits now, see what works and what doesn't, and hit the ground running next year, which I bet both HRC and Ducati do. Hopefully Yamaha has some goodies up their sleeves too, cos even with Rossi's and Lorenzo's talent it's gonna be a tough battle at the top next year...

I could be wrong but in the 1960's didn't brigestone also start making bikes? better than hondas of the day. Honda and bridgestone had abit of a chat and Honda continued to build bikes and brigestone got to put tires on every honda made! The two companies have a lot of history together, hence far more accomadating to Dani and hondas demands than vale's and yamaha last year.

I do think that this situation will make racing more equal but wuld be pleased if Jorge and michelin could come up with the goods as well.

No doubt if i'm wrong one of the many talented, will point out my mistake in a carefully crafted reply :)

Jonno . you are indeed correct old fruit , this was pretty much what happened back then.
The 350GTR Bridgestone was a missile of a two stroke , shame really as i reckon they could have been very successful in bike manufacturing.

Calm down people, its only one test and most teams who test if they really try can find half a sec on the third day in a row at a track anyway. Honda will have had the data from Nakano's bike and just worked from that settings wise. So they had some base settings to work from. Its one thing when you have hours to throw as many tires and run what ever amount of fuel you want as well. Race weekend when you have to make choices on which way to go on settings to fit in the limited track time is another.

Well, actually I think that rossi is a little bit afraid.
Pedrosa's bridgestones are fast and stoner will bounce back soon.
So rossi is the Wc this year but what will he do next year?????
And yes I also think that pedrosa will win in indianapollis!!!!
