Stoner and Stoner fans are afraid again. Remember when Stoner said: you always want what you can't have. Remember when Stoner fans said: Danny will be slower with Bridgestones. WISHFUL THINKING!

Rossi and Rossi fans say: bring it on. Bring on spec tires and competition. A true racer wants to race the best.

Cowardly Stoner and Cowardly Stoner fans say: Noooo. Only Stoner can have good tires, good traction control, good top end speed. Nooo.

It just shows that Stoner and his fans are fools who are living in fantasy land. Get real you foos. :D

Agreed hodgey46, I think Dani Pedrosa has missed his chance at the WC, Dovi will do more with the Repsol, he is a real racer when it comes down to the wire, not a time trial jockey like Dani or Casey Binner.
Next year one can only expect Rossi to be even stronger with his track data from this year, and Lorenzo and Dovi being stronger with their rookie years experience behind them also, and even Casey Binner is liable to be stronger provided he can stay on of course. If a one tyre rule is adopted then it could level the playing field for many riders out there. We shall see!
Good to see Dani putting those times in though, but its the race that counts, just ask Casey Binner about that one.

Where are you getting the Jorge will beat Danni from??? In 250's Jorge never won a single race UNTIL danni left!!!! Danni is a better racer bar far.

And he will never get bothered or syced by Rossi or anyone.. just see the Jorge attempt at the begining of the season Danni just shut up and let his riding do the talking no crap spouted like others.. No-one as yet knows how Danni will do on the BS but I reckon he will win a race very soon this year and next year could be unstoppable... Then again marco melandri may yet win a race this season??? ok maybe not!!

Rossi had some problems of adaptation to the bridgestones. It seems that Pedrosa may progress faster. I won't miss the next few races, the top four guys will disappear in the horizon and settle their issues in the last lap... well i hope so.

I really think some ppl who comment in here have been watching Moto gp for 5 min, some of the crap that gets posted in here makes me laugh and keeps me coming back for more.

Anyway on the point of Dani boy and his early christmas present. The boy has talent in spades. Personality no/talent yes. Im glad he has the same tires as Rossi/Stoner and I hope it makes him faster. I want to see Rossi/Stoner/Pedrosa and who ever else wants to join. 4 wide on the track scraping paint from start to finish. Especially for the last few races. Rossi 2008 WC/Hats off. So now lets all have some fun eh boys.

By the way, haven't we learnt yet that. Testing/Practice is just that. Just ask Casey or Colin.

impressive time yes. But does it mean if all other michelin runners throw their teddys out of their cots they too will be biven bridgestone tyres. Understand hrc honda have been frustrated but i think the way this has been dealt with stinks !!!! roll on next year for one tyre rule

Paul, the comment about testing/practice is true regarding the race outcome, but it's a must considering the relatively short time these blokes get to actually ride the bike. The times are certainly the best indicator of the potential race pace these guys can run, however the thing that I don't get is how can qualifying tyres in any way add to the race potential (or tyres for the masses) of the competitors. It must be a nightmare to work around the different setups required and how do they aid tyre development?
Qualifying on race tyres may let some of the other teams who struggle with setup, more time to sought out their race settings.

@wax49. Was there not a thread yesterday in which NH was quoted as saying" no-one asked me if I wanted to switch" or words to that effect. As I said yesterday, no-one asked Pedrosa either, he demanded it!

I also mentioned yesterday that BS stated that they were almost at their capacity, so I don't know where all this one tyre rule is coming from.

Good for dani but let's remember that Rossi was also fast when he tested Brigstones for the first time. We all know he's struggled at just about every track except Mugello. Rossi has adapted to every bike change he's used i.e. Aprilia to Honda to Yamaha and now Michelin to Brigstones with all sucesses but it took some time. We all know Dani is good but he's no Rossi. The question is can he adapt as well as Rossi? Dani has said that he didn't ask for the tire change but I know he's on cloud nine right now. He also said that Nicky doesn't have the talent to develop the new Honda. Well, Dani the balls in your court now. Do you have the talent to develop the Brigstones to the Honda? :?

Fast times but so what ? He only did short 6-8 lap stints between stops so we can learn nothing really: we know Dani is fast, we know the Honda is fast. Lets see what happens at Indy and Motegi.
