please explain to me what is wrong with what Repsol,Dani&HRC has done???

Many people who post on here are from Oz, US, Canada, Italy etc, I don't get the English slur?

My sincere apologies. I did not intend to omit additional facts from my original listing. I must confess I did not gather all of my sources before completing the list. I promise it will not happen in the future.

boolbool, I personally do not feel HRC, Dani, or Repsol has done anything wrong. If I had the capabilities to make myself and my team faster or produce better results I would. I imagine (do not take this as fact) that some people feel that a SPANISH rider for a SPANISH sponsor is receiving special treatment that they do not duly deserve.

Its amazing that everyone wants to jump ship from Michelin to Bridgestone. You have to think they will be better next year, and having said that they have won a few races this ye*****

Also some of the talk about changing to a one make tyre rule seems strange. No one mentioned it a few years back when Michelin were the tyres to have.

You have loads of people on here saying Danni wont win so long as Jorge is in it, Dovi will beat Pedrosa in the Repsol team.. Blah blah. I would like to know what this is based on really? When did Jorge win his first 250 race? Answer AFTER danni left 250's. When did Dovi when his first 250 race? Answer AFTER danni left.
How many times has Jorge beat Danni this year? 4, Danni beat Jorge 7 times this year. On a worse bike and same tyres as Jorge. Dovi beat danni 3 times of which 2 danni did not finish or race Danni has beat him every other race bar none. And in 250's it is even worse for Dovi and Jorge!!

I hope this brings Pedrosa right up into the fight..for my daughter's sake. U see, inorder to obsess and watch MotoGP the way I do, i included my fam in the affair. Me and my wife support Rossi, I got my girl into supporting Pedrosa (for variety and cause he was so young she might be able to relate), and we all hate Stoner! Recently my wife has switched to Lorenzo, more so to counter my runaway Rossi fanaticism, and offer some variety in the (edge of the sofa / jump out at the TV) cheerleading stakes.

So you see, all these lack luster reports for Pedrosa really have her 8 yr old mind in the dumps! Go PD. for '09 a close battle the whole way [1=Rossi, 2=Lorenzo, 3=Pedrosa, Stoner=mid pack

Alaywa, your parental skills have rubbed off a treat with your young daughter unable to make her own judgement as you have polluted her growing mind already with your views and hatred towards Stoner. You have yourself to blame for her being in the dumps as YOU are the one who has led her on this path.. Good one

Boolbool, I did not critizie the Dani and HRC deal, however, I did critizise the Dorna involvement. Spain is without doubt the biggest market for television rights and the whole deal with sponsor money. If the main spanish guy is not competitive they get less spanish spectators and more moans and groans from some of the big money spanish sponsors.
I know people with good connections in the MotoGP paddock. According to them all talk about "long-term cooperation" between Honda and Bridgestone is nothing but crap. The true story is that Dorna (and their boss Ezpeleta) ORDERED Bridgestone to supply Dani with the same tyres as Valentino and Casey - or risk being the future single manufacturer!

Hate is a strong term I have used loosely for the sake of drama, but my point is to teach her how to be a better sport, and both lose and win with grace and dignity (i.e. to accept a DP loss). Needless to say Stoner is not quite the roll model for her on that front! And when 8 turns to 18, I'm sure she will be able to handle more of her "own decisions" but generally speaking at this stage their decisions are not all that advanced nor based on deeper criteria....so may I suggest and only suggest for yourself, seeing as your probably closer to 18 than 8, that you take a pill and calm down while watching a clip of Stoner riding to a Ducati assisted win from last season.
