i think that now that Pedrosa has set his mind that they did the right move he will be very strong for the rest of the season.
no pressure he just will go full on and surprise allot of people.
good luck to him and hope he doesn't fall too often.

'Pussy on the brakes' - 'can't hack it in the big boys class' You lot are having a laugh. Dani was leading the championship until his crash in the rain at the Sachsenring. If he had got the Bridgestones at the start of season (like Rossi) he would probably be out of sight and championship already won. Motorcycling can be a cruel sport, one bad Rossi crash and Dani or Casey could still be champion.

If Rossi, Stoner, Lorenzo are abducted by Aliens....
Then Pedrosa will be MotoGP champion 2009

As Pedrosa weighs the same as a 12r old girl, no wonder he can lead from Pole due to the weight advantage and acceleration off the line compared to the others. (Elias is also tiny).

Other than that, what has Pedrosa ever done other than fail, in the best
funded team in MotoGP.

Once Rossi retires, Lorenzo and Stoner will be Kings as Dani will continue on as the geek of MotoGP. The guy at the back of the class who collects stamps.

Brilliant talent, just no soul - robotic.

Annoyingly for Pedrosa, he is not in the top 3 of brilliance, but the 4th or 5th best rider.

whatev... the Pedrobot is good, the fall in the wet messed things up a bit
hope he ups his game and maybe we could be in for a bigger treat
like to see what Dovi can deliver next year
i see dovi, dani and lorenzo screwing things up for rossi at the
start of races, wich will give stoner time to build a gap
bummed melandri is in a hole, and, next year, not getting out with the kwak
this motogp stuff is the best

go Dani and some others

surely this is good for him to finally use the new engine but this is near end of season and he's just startin out, surely the other teams will jump ahead again next year as they have had extra developement leaving honda trailing again. i also don't see dovi lying down and letting pedro beat him

WAZ....... you say when Pedrosa developes the bike and tyres he'll be quicker?????
How can he,when he never does any testing or develpoement. Please tell me what testing and developement he has done with the pneumatic engine.NONE.
All the other riders do hours of testing and get what they deserve,eg Stoner/Rossi/Lorenzo but Pedrosa never puts in the hard work..Also i cannot remember Pedrosa starting in the middle of the pack and overtaking everyone to win.He is like Stoner, when in the lead cool, when battle,no where. When ex moto gp racers say Pedrosa is crap on breaks they are right.

Well said Simon. By the way, I think the minimum weight of the bikes should include the rider. If you are over six foot, you are at a massive disadvantage compared to Dani. Ballat the bikes to weigh, say, 215kg, including the rider and you will see closer racing

You obviously have a short memory or little understanding of how the various championship rules work. Dani has already won a champioship in which ballast rules apply so to insinuate it would slow him down is a little wide of the mark.

talking **** about motogp riders - what a joke
rossi and stoner are the better riders.
then theres pedrobot, lorenzo, dovi and vermeulen etc and
we want these guys to improve so there's more action
a post is a post and we like motogp news
if we hear its going good with dani
then its going good for the showdown
talking crap about dani is retarded
at least dani is better value than most of the rest
do not like to see anyone beating my rossi, but,
if there's someone that can challenge the king at
his game - bring it on.

give melandri a honda
