I am pleased Toni has performed well in recent rounds. He deserves to stay in Moto GP. I'll never forget his style when he won in Portugal in 2006. Also he won one of the best ever 250cc races in front of his home crowd at Jerez back in about 2002 or 2003 - an awesome fightback through the field. Hope the race is close this weekend and the michelin's are working.

Toni is great and interesting and bla bla bla....
Toni is now in his fourth year in MotoGP he is very interesting to watch one or twice a year max!
in all his 3.3/4 years in MotoGP he scored a total on 398 points...
Stoner and Rossi did very close to that in one season!
in 2006 if he had not won that race and gave Honda there pride back(when Hayden won the W.C) his career would have turned a different way and he would probably be a mid pack Superbike rider.

don't get me wrong he is allot of fun to watch when every thing ticks right but like i said before it doesn't happen often.

good luck to him and i hope he plays a bigger part in 2009

Toni is a great rider, with incredible skill, yet I'll never forgive Tiger Toni for ruining Rossi's championship in 2006.

Thanks to Toni knocking Rossi off his machine - Rossi did not get enough points to win the Championship on his unreliable M1 that year.

So if Toni has been wathching what he'd been doing, Hayden would not have won the riders championship - (which he, for sure, didn't deserve).

Rossi NEARLY won the championship back then, despite a duff bike, and duff Michelin Tyres, yet Toni blew this huge achievement from Vale, by knocking Vale off and ruining his points tally at the start of the season.

No wonder Vale didn't invite him for tea & scones after his last win.

What a ridiculous argument! LOL... Then you can blame EVERYBODY who has knocked someone off (if Hayden hadn't won that year, how do you think his crowd view Pedrosa?) So blame Stoner for wrecking Gibernau's chances, Gibernau for wrecking Cappirossi's chances (bigger than most people realise! - Capirex could have won that year), Pedrosa for ruining Hayden's chances... The list goes on... Are you referring to Elias knocking Rossi off 1st race (unavoidable by Rossi), or Elias beating Rossi and stealing the winning 5 points (avoidable by Rossi!)?
