I thought Lorenzo was a bit uppity in the after-race interview with his comments about the race being stopped early, did anyone else hear him suggest that he would have taken Hayden if the race would have continued?

When the rain really came down again Lorenzo was 3 seconds faster than Hayden in a single lap! He closed in rapidly.

Comparing Stoner to people like Doohan and Rossi is a complete joke, he's won one championship so far on a bike that was massively superior, he's got so far togo before being discussed in the same breath it's not worth talking about, each season the other bikes get a little closer to Ducati and there are riders outthere with much better records than Stoner before motogp.... if he was that good he'd have won this year...

You can't possibly argue that any rider is "great" after winning one championship. Even less so if that bike has an obvious and considerable performance advantage.

But by saying that you could insinuate the same thing about Lorenzo and the obvious performance of his Aprilia to the Honda. The bikes still have to be riden to the enth degree to get results,they dont brake and steer themselves
