Something else, I think MotoGP did itself a favour at Indianapolis.
By showing that you can actually race in these weather conditions, the elite of the motorsport world putting their lives on the line on a sunday afternoon. Eat your heart out Nascar, Formula 1 or Cart!
With Hayden duking it out with Rossi for the majority of the race (not a realistic reflection of the season, but whatever) and Ben Spies up there as well it must have had a high entertainment value for the US fans as well,
I wonder how it was received in the States, can some of you US posters tell us?

Waz-- that's a surprising comment as it was visible to the naked eye all weekend that both the Duke and Honda are quite a bit faster than the yam, neither Rossi nor JL could stick with either even when in the slipstream, I think Yam do have the two best riders although I'm unsure between DP and JL.....

28 seconds down for stoner, reckon the electronics are pre set, every time it's mixed conditions and they can't do set up for full dry or full wet he's nowhere...

Hi the morgue, I live in the US and this is unfortunately a 3 world country when it comes high class motor sports like motogp. All the fans love it (and there are a lot) but coverage of motogp got to be one of the worst in the world I dear say. Simple sucks.
For the lucky ones there at the race, they where saying it was awesome despite the conditions.
Hope things change for the better with Nicky riding duci next year, and hopefully Spies joining

Duke of Bebop- I'd say that race was wet not mixed. How much rain do you need to make it wet?

Duke of Bebop, did I say the Yamaha was the fastest? Nope - best overall package though, I reckon. It's hard to account for Lorenzo being up the front otherwise, and he started to come on form about the same time as Valentino began to come back against Stoner. Draw your own conclusions.

waz - agree with yam being the best overall package, but Rossis form came back just before Laguna, where as Lorenzos just the last couple of races (he was no where in Brno and remeber Laguna?
