Unlucky, Carboniferous? But you said it's the rider's fault when he falls... make up your mind, lad.

Congrats to Stoner, excellent pole position. Pity about Rossi crashing, hope he is ok,
looks like we''re in for another catch-up race tomorow :)
Four Michelins in the top five, they sure make good qualifiers, Toseland very good too!

By the way: Michelin has pulled out of the single tyre competition, Bridgestone is expected to sign a three year deal.

Unlucky Vale, from where he was touching his neck it looked like typical whiplash, hope he's gonna race tomorrow, not much of an off but a stiff neck can be unworkable on a bike.

What has happened to CS?, normally without Rossi he would walk it but he is having to work incredibly hard at Pole..still fast lap for the t0sser...

Congrats JT, just shows what a difference track knowlege and dry set up can make...3 places in front of teammate..good work!!!!

Yep, that isn't great for the race unless Michelin have managed to produce a tyre that will remain good for the whole duration: however on the bright side Rossi usually doesn't make more than one mistake in a year and he had his at Assen, plus he isn't under pressure, so as long as none of those in front do anything silly when he's passing them, it could be entertaining. Hayden is riding as one who has come out of the shadow of the Valley of Puig...

I genuinely hope Rossi is fit to ride. Before the qualifiers came out the race tyre times were looking very close across Rossi, Stoner, Pedrosa, Lorenzo and Hayden. Provided all is well it should be a very close race tomorrow. Heres hoping for good weather.

The ones that can run consistent 1.30's in race trim are CS, JL, VR and DP,
they will probably decide the race tomorrow (if it stays dry).
Vermeulens Suzuki slowest bike on topspeed

Don't expect logic or consistency from the likes of Carboniferous, it's "unlucky" if Rossi crashes but lack of skill if it's Stoner crashing..

Stoner is 1.3 seconds faster than Rossi today and over 6 tenths faster than the next Bridgestone rider ( Pedrosa), yes Casey really had to work hard ..

Have a nice day.

Morgue - on practice times, assuming Stoner can run the whole race hard, Rossi really has his work cut out for him to win from there but it should be good to watch him pull out the stops. I have a sneaking suspicion that the Pedrobot can take this one as long as he isn't passed by Hayden early and loses heart, Stoner second, and unless the Michelins have the endurance, Rossi third.
