It''s really nice to see NH fighting for podium. I just hope that Duc will suit him next year.
I really enjoyed the race. Shame that he couldn''t hold off VR but thats racing :)

Great stuff, Casey Stoner said the same after the finish in Assen 2007 where he was reeled in by Valentino,
interesting to see that they use the TV screens as a kind of rearview mirror :) very handy!
Next step would be a small onboard screen connected to the camera on the bike, nothing is impossible :p

I would say Hayden chances to fight a bit longer with Rossi due to Michelin weaknesses. Michelin has ignoring the fact that Honda need for a 'special' medium compound that could last a bit longer since Gibernau's era.

Hard compound always upset Honda balances. How hard is it to wrap an additional layer to a medium compound tire so it can last a bit longer?

Nicky is in full training for season 2009 where his talents will be appreciated,Ducati will give him a decent bike that will suit his style, 2 world champions in the same team should give Ducati the strongest team in moto gp,Nicky and Casey will get along fine, this time each will have a back up rider that can win some championship points. Poor Marco is Kawasaki really the answer to his problems??????

Really pleased to see NH gettign a couple podiums under his belt. The more i see the guy trying the more of a fan i become! no one on the grid is better at getting the little rubber ring at the back of the bike to turn to smoke!!!

Methinks Honda might regret giving Hayden the flick

I can't wait to see Nicky ride the ducati next year, I am sure he is a great choice for the team, for Casey too, and that he will be a huge asset and much appreciated.
If anyone can ride the ducati anywhere near Casey, Nicky is one of them.

Kind regards

ricky

As much as I like Nicky, the assumption that he will do great on the Ducati is just that - an assumption.
Everybody shouts it, Livio Suppo included, but no one really knows.
Not only does he have to change bikes, also tyre brand after years of riding Michelins, that's quite a task.
We thought Melandri would kick *** on the Duc too and he didn't.
So we will see :)

Ah, fair weather Hayden fans. Funny how when he was not on the box, most here on "Crash" discounted his talents and named him a one hit wonder champion. And now he has a couple of podiums towards the end of the season and people start to like him more. On the bright side, more are starting to recognize his talents. On the down side, it took a couple of podiums for some to take notice. Tisk tisk...

Skinny- it's true. Some of the people just hated Nicky because he won that WC in 2006. Now when VR is on top again, some fans are finnaly seeing that there are more riders than just Vale.
But it's better now than never :) Nicky truly deserves to be respected more. If not for his achievements then for that what kind of person he is.
