Gina, like you I love this forum , it's so juvenile and makes me feel 20 years younger, like being back in school don't you think ?

We can make things up about people, slag them off every time their name is mentioned, call them liars, thick, abuse anyone who differs in opinion, anything we like really..

Bullies Rule ..ok !!!

These posts are getting a bit off the point now. I'm English & I haven't met an aussie that I didn't like & I'm really against all this 'us & them' stuff.

With the Stoner/Rossi situation. There is no doubt that Stoner is an awesome rider, he is the only guy that can make that Ducati go like it does but you can't compare him to Rossi, they are completely different personalities.

Stoner seems to have absolute faith in the electronics on the Ducati & can really make it work well, Melandri has been complaining that he doesn't get proper feel from the Duke & therefore doesnt have the confidence to just throw it at corners & fire it out again.

We need the Stoner's & Rossi's in MotoGP!!

Broken Wrist...my a**

i'm sorry but the way stoner has bitched about this wrist, and ducati have gone on about it...it being used an as excuse as to why he fell in misano and he got 'tired' in motegi...

as much as stoner is fast and a good rider, he needs to quit the bull and get on with the racing...being labeled a hero, cos he won his home race with a broken wrist...if thats how he has to get his confidence...well its pretty sad..

congrats on him winning his home gp...but at the same time, shut up about the wrist, cos it obviously isnt as bad as its been made out to be, unless PI isnt as physical as the experts make it out to be..

roll on sepang!

For what it's worth Jimmy I think the press have been concentrating on "the wrist" more than anyone else (this forum excepted of course). If you only ask one question it's pretty easy to write a report. As for PI being physical .. well the changes of direction are not harsh, so in that regards it's easier than some other circuits would seem to be (not that I've ridden any other MotoGP circuit than PI). The long corners take a lot of upperbody and leg work: body "English" if that makes sense to hold a line - even at my vastly reduced pace. They time MotoGP to 0.001 of a second. They time me with a calend**** Maybe the nature of the track is easier on arms and wrists?? Does that help??

Not sure i would be that proud of his win myself, has he forgot the brilliant rossi was back in 12th had he not of been he would have been lamb to the slaughter, stoner is good but not as patch on rossi, stoner most of the time can only win races from the front unlike rossi who wins from anywhere, stoner just uses the grunt from the ducati without that he wouid''nt do alot.ROSSI rules..........

So rossi fell off trying to catch stoner in qualifying, what about the times when stoner dropped it when rossi was chasing him down in 2 races the ones that cost him the championship,he blamed it on the bike it was purely a pressure fall he cant handle it when rossi is pushing him,the true i classic this year was with rossi and moaner sorry stoner was overshadowed by stoner whinging, surely all the great gp champions of the past cant be wrong by saying rossi did nothing wrong in that race,i personally think stoner is very good and would respect him more if he just faced upto it he was beaten fair and square that day.By the way this is only banter u aussies i like australia and the people...

Ladies please....may I ask one simple question. Who was Englands last MotoGP world champion and where did he decide to reside after he finished his racing career? He was a very smart chap indeed and a much loved addition to Australias population

"Broken Wrist...my a**" I guess if thats what turns you on Jimmy :D

I am sure it was all part of the mind games that goes on. He probably re-injured it in one of his crashes and the team came up with their BS excuse to cover their own tracks so as not to give Rossi another psychological advantage with the championship still hanging in the balance.

I am sure you would know better than anyone tho Jimbo. Obviously you are an orthapedic surgeon and have examined his wrist personally...with your a$$

I think you have to put things in perspective.... Doohan didnt win his first race until age 29. Stoner is 22 and has won 15 against arguably the GOAT...I think he will do OK over his career and already has an impressive record.

Answer this for me - if JT had put a 3rd tier factory bike on pole in his 2nd race or nearly won his 3rd would you not say he had awesome talent. JT has had all year so far on a superior bike to what Stoner had available and he has yet to podium.

I dont think jt has the same talent as rossi or moaner on that bike that is, he was much better in wsb,but then lets not forget the brilliant bayliss he was'nt that good on a gp bike but awesome to watch on wsb,he did'nt whinge alot, stoner maybe liked more if he did'nt moan, rossi just gets on with it no matter what the outcome,by the way i take nothing away from jt its nice to see him kicking edwards **** who by now should know these bikes, again he was better on a wsb, take care the {truth}..........
