Alberto Puig has done alot for promoting juniors through racing in recent years, and should be commended for that. This article however reeks stupidity. Puig did not need to launch such a selfish and divisive attack, when Hayden has played it pretty cool about the last two years and his leaving. I expect Dovi will beat Dani if given the same equipment, and Rossi, Lorenzo and Stoner will beat Repsol next year anyway. Where will Alberto hide then?

I didn't believe I'd ever read such a ballsy statement from anyone in the hyper-politically-correct motogp paddock! That said though, Puig is a complete f&ckwit. Who says cr@p like that? A 10 year old would understand that it only makes him look like a frustrated loser.

Puig is not physically small, but his mind definitely is... Ridiculous attacks from him against Hayden. Even though I am not a fan and I do believe Nicky Hayden's weakness is probably bike setup and development, it still seems to me that Dani is missing something to be MotoGP champ, which Hayden has been. I just hope one day Pedrosa dismisses Puig like Lorenzo has dismissed Amatriain.

Dani hasn't got the results to back these sayings anyway, so Puig might as well just hold quiet instead of looking like a blasting fool.
Now what about next year when Dovi rides at Repsol? I would not be surprised if Dani will be outperformed by Dovi. Then what?
Dani would just be another talented rider, but not quite "it". To make things worse, he's not even a colourful rider who adds some life to the GP scene.

Hayden leaves it all on the race track and is beeing played by HONDA and the repsol team from the moment the midget came to the same team. Even wining a championship on a prototype machine, despite beeing knocked off by his team mate who wasn't in the hunt for the title hasn't helped his situation one bit. He's been second fidle no matter what he achived. Now that he's showing some pace they start to slam him through the press. Puig has no character and obviously thinks he know's it all.
I'd like very much fore someone to doo an interview with Hayden when his contract with Repsol Honda is up. Should be intresting to read...

Cheap trashy talk, he needs to remember that Nicky's a world champion after all not pedro

by the competition that pedro will have nxt year and in future years, his chances are getting slimmer

My opinion, for what it is worth, is that neither Hayden or Pedrosa can develop a bike and that is why Honda is where Honda is. When Rossi and Burgess left the development ceased. Hayden is a fair rider who can ride round problems when motivated not often enough I fear for Hondas good). Pedrosa can also ride but is too frequently unable to rise to the occasion.
Dovi may help, if he is allowed, but hopefully the evil empire will fall as all empires do!

To say Nicky is jealous of Pedrosa is laughable - Hayden has a title and Dani doesn't. But he probably is confused as to way Honda would listen to an idiot like Puig and bow to Pedrosa after Hayden won the title.

But I can't see how anyone can defend Puig and his arrogance. This guy will be a cancer in anyones team. Hope team owners are reading this and realize what a prick he is and to stay away from him and his riders if they have that attitude.

Funny how if Nicky can't set up a bike he sure has done pretty well the last couple of races. But the fact that Nicky weighs so much more than Pedrosa I don't see how they could share data anyway.
