THEY WERE TEAMMATES, teammates are supposed to share data. PUIG is an idiot and just making excuses for Dani''s poor performance as of late getting out paced by a larger rider on a bike built for the MIDGET. PUIG is one of the main problems with REPSOL.

Even if Hayden dislikes Pedrosa, atleast he is professional enough to do it behind closed doors and not use the media to slag Nicky off because he isnt man enough to stand up to Nicky and say it. I must admit, when Nicky first came into the MotoGP I wasnt his biggest fan, but I love the way he just gets on with it even when everything is going against him. He never complains to the press and is generally much classier than most of the others. He always gives 100% and pushes his bike past what its meant to do. I am quite a fan of Nicky now, and my opinion of Puig has dropped, and Dani aswell slightly. Pathetic.

In my opinion, this Puig doing damage control for 2009. he is setting up the excuses for next year in case Hayden stomps Pedrosa into the ground on the Ducati. Then he can claim Hayden is riding on Stoner's settings and that Pedrosa was still the better of the two riders when at Honda. That Puig is a ass. After Pedrosa's collision with Hayden at Portugal in 2006 Puig was blaming Hayden for causing the crash.

The Guy is a ***** and Dani is too lazy to get off his **** and test! Nicky Hyaden puts in more laps than anyone else, even if he doesnt make much progress from comments he gives people himself he will be giving the team huge amounts of data to look at! Dani missed huge amounts of testing at the start of the year (ok he was injured, but dont fall off the bike! other people have been injured and still ridden! Casey, Nicky, Rossi, Lorenzo etc) then michelin have issues and he decides that trying to improve the situation is embarassing and a waste of time. so boll0cks to Puig, he has played a huge part in screwing a lot of things up this season!

Hayden doesn:t come across as a hypocrit to me. He usually tells the truth and says that HE should be riding better and that the team is strong, even when it is obvious that the bike wasn:t very strong or he was on tires that were getting killed by bridgestone. To understand the type of people the Hayden's are, after the Estoril 2006 race when Hayden's chances looked shot, Earl Hayden still congratulated Rossi on his race. Rossi afterward even said he couldnt believe after what happened to Nicky (because of Pedrosa) that the Hayden's were still able to be genuine & positive.

MotoGP World Championships:

Hayden: 1
Pedrosa: 0

I bought Dani Pedrosa a drink at Ruths Chris in Indainapolis on the Sunday after the Moto GP. He along with two associates were at the bar. To my surprise he was very nice, laughed a lot and was friendly with most everyone there. He is truly tiny but has a big personality. This was totaly different from my perception of him as a moody brat.

I hope at some point he ditches his oppressive, irrational, childish manager and begins to assert his own sense of self. He'll never win the championship or enjoy the popularity of Rossi or Edwards or Hayden while being domintaed by this moto Svengali...

I´m a real big fan of Pedrosa but not so much of Puig...
I still believe Dani can take a title but Puig isn´t a big help...
But don´t forget Dani was leading the championship until Germany.
The Michilen Bridgestone switch proved to be a good move because Michelin is out of motogp. So Dani did at least get too know the bridgestone´s before next season. So i think it was more of a tacticle move than anything else.

These things Puig is saying about Nicky is below the belt ever more so because Nicky kept his mouth shut. I would like too read what Dani and Nicky have too say about this article.

Dani it´s time to get yourself a new manager....

Wow,...seriously, wow! I can just visualise more walls coming down around that garage...
padded ones!
There speaks a man with a BAG of chips on each shoulder! How many world championships have YOU won Alberto? (Zero is the answer) How many races? 1...yeah, slag off the ONE
guy Honda had developing the bike why don't you. The guy who put in lap after lap after lap going through stuff so Dani-Boy did have to cos he couldn't be bothered, the guy who finished infront of Valentino Rossi consistently enough to WIN a world championship
and who didn't BLEAT like a kid with toothache when things didn't go the way he wanted.
STFU Alberto, you fool.

Dani needs to stand up for himself and sort this out. Get Puig out of there and concentrate on doing what Dani does best which is often lost in all of this. The kid is a bloody good motorcycle rider and he needs to focus on that, something you'd think his manager would be mindful of instead of stirring up crap for the sake of it. I'd hope Dani is embarrassed by this and tells Puig to shut up or piss off. I mean really, the things he's said here are borderline retarded. Team-mates sharing data? Well I never. All this time I suppose Stoner's been stealing data of Melandri and poor Marco has suffered as a result too uh Alberto? First grade idoiot.

One thing Erik de Boer, you mention that it could have been a tacticle move to go to
Bridgestones before the end of the season.
Wouldn't that have been only right and proper for BOTH sides of the camp to move?

I agree with the other things you mentioned btw. :)
