Nice to see the top ten all within a second, seems a rarity these days. Lets hope we are in for a good race. According to the Eurosport commentators - single tyre rumoured to be be only 2 constructions each with 4 different compounds and limited to only 8 fronts. Expect to see a lot of teams struggling to adapt the bike to the tyres.

Agree with you stitcho. It'll be even better if he does it at the expense of the clown.

Don't get too carried away kiddies, the times are nowhere near lap record or qualifying times, expect the top men to be about a second faster if the conditions are ok tomorrow.

Good to see Westy doing a bit better is both sessions so far.

Maybe knowing he's got a decent ride next year is helping him.

Times are off the pace a bit, but all pretty close. I hope the reports I'm hearing about no more qualifiers is right because I struggle to see how it helps particularly the lesser (non-factory, 2nd tier tyres etc) teams, with the already limited practice time they get.
@THX, suck it in mate, you'll obviously never know what it's like to be motivated enough that you are sometimes disappointed with your own (or your teams) efforts. When you grow up you'll realise it takes all types and you might even learn to appreciate them all. Cheers.
