have to agree with you Layton I also miss those years, and the great racing we used to have, i whish they would bring back the 990's as the 800's seem to have failed on all counts (Bike's faster, racing cr@pper).

I hope that we at least get a couple of race's like that as other than Laguna this year the last great race's were Catlanunya 07 and Muggello,Estoril 06.. that is pretty poor. Infact i saw a stat somewhere (can't remember) that said it has been 40 something races since a win was decided with a pass on the last lap :? that really says alot.

You just don't know a good overtaking move when you see one, it is what sets racing apart from a tupperware party :p
Nevertheless I liked the direct scraps between Rossi and Sete a lot, like the Laguna race with Stoner,
there are just too many runaway races nowadays and that's a pity. I wonder if the single tyre rule is going to change that..

Morgue aka j mansi, so you like the scraps between rossi and sete? So you only want him on the grid to be used as a guinea pig for your god to perform those entertaining moves for your enjoyment? You will never want him to win, right? You are not in for the "real" racing where the best wins. You only want your god to win at the expense of others. What a pity. Typical retarded mentality of the hero worshippers.

Jimmy Mansi? Stop flattering me :)

Gibernau won a couple of races from Rossi, good battles :) He deserved the wins. It would be great if he could wi more but it would surprise me. Maybe his acting has improved as well, that will only add to the spectacle.
In the words of another great racer: 'WE WILL SEE' :-o

I don't know what sort of acting that you're referring to, but whatever it is it sure isn't as offensive as those monkey shows from that great racer.

Walking like a lame duck with a supposed shoulder injury at Jerez 05
is the kind of behaviour that is unworthy for the good racer Gibernau was.
Not a great racer, he had his chances over the years, even on Doohans NSR500 at HRC
but the truth is he just couldn't cut it, like Biaggi.
It must be a hard truth for these guys but that's the way it is.

the guy has not turned a wheel in competative action yet and already people are p!ssing and wh!ning!! Lets just wait till the test on Monday to gauge how close he will start to the top.. and from there see if he can move nearer the front.

I just look forward to having another true racer on the grid and another bike and (fingers crossed) some better racing than we have endured over the past 2 seasons. Bring it on :-o
