I don't remember anybody saying it was easy to go from 250 to 500 in the old days. Even Rossi didn't have an easy transition.
Too much electronics and traction control on the motogp bikes ?

I am impressed by his reaction that he found the GP8 easier to ride than expected., Kalio is a good rider and could cause a suprise..

Possibly a bit early to say that, as he could be setting himself up later in the year if he fails to get to grips with it!!

Could be a true comment but could also come back and haunt him. Dovi said the same thing last year and even though he rode well he really got to grips with the bike at the end of the season!!

It's probably gonna be harder than he thinks to find those last 2 seconds. Getting close maybe easy but I bet it's that last little bit that takes the most finding.

kalio grew up on KTM with stoner in 125.
maybe he is used to stoner's riding style, and stoner's machine.
But agree, its too early to say after 1 day of test and always finding 2-3 seconds separates the best from mediocres.

"...MotoGP bike is easy to move at each turn, Mika said" That says something about KTM.

Mika, now when test is limited borrow Vitto's GP8 to test it winter time... youtube.com/watch?v=iZ9M3P_P9_U

... and you can teach Vitto how to lean it on ice... :D

These guys 'circulate' 2 seconds off the pace and then think its easy? Ask Lorenzo how easy it was..

I think it was first impression and nothing more. And i dont think Mika was up to pace at his first 250cc test also. It still big difference what Rossi said about his first 500cc test.

It does not matter what kind of race bike you have. Those last seconds are still difficult to get.
